Very poor service
I usually do not give bad ratings. But this is to save other parents from unnecessary high school fees for an online school that does not give good support.

We were very excited to place our child in the uct online high school program in grade 10 this year. I the beginning we thought that wow this has to be the best by far because it's uct and they have great reviews online.

But sadly our good performing child has not been able to pass and or even cope with the online. Not only my child but another 3 children that we personally know have also been failing and cannot cope.

There is no proper support when it comes to exams, test, submissions. Or even technical aspects. After following all the instructions they are still graded 0 and you cannot even appeal it. They always decline your appeal.

There are not even textbooks online for free. We had to buy textbooks.
The classes are not a full day. They point have 1 or 2 classes per day that's it.

Parents cannot even supervise or help with uploading as the child has to be alone completely or else they get a 0, no exceptions.

They treat our children as if they are adults.

I'm sorry to say but this is the first time in my child's life ever failing a grade. It's a huge financial burden and now we have to pay another school for repeating the year.

If you really want to save yourself the hassle, rather look for something that you know certainly works for your child. Don't put yourself into a place that will burden the child.
