Although we did not end up staying at this property, we feel compelled to leave a review regarding the handling of our reservation.
Our booking was cancelled 12 days after being confirmed, and only 5 days before the start of our family trip to Cornwall. By that stage, accommodation options in the area were already extremely limited and significantly more expensive. We understand that mistakes can occasionally happen, however the way this situation was handled was deeply disappointing and, in our opinion, unacceptable and far from professional.
A confirmed reservation should provide guests with a certain level of reliability and reassurance, especially for families travelling with children.
Based on our experience, we would unfortunately not consider this a reliable property to book with, and we would advise future guests to think carefully before relying on a confirmed reservation here.
