STAY AWAY FROM THEM USE SOMETHING ELSE.

3 months waiting to understand why the account that previously worked, was restricted to withdrawn. Their response was none and then they put the account on hold. this after all the info was provided. They lied on the chat, never replied to emails ... shocking experience, stay away if you dont want to lose your money. Frankly i suspect they stole it ...

Non-communicative and lacking in transparency. They locked an important life-or-death fundraiser without warning and it has been totally impossible to get a response from them. Completely abysmal and unethical.

I made a donation thinking all the money went to "the Charity" Small print in my case GoFundMe added their 7.5% agents fee. At no point was i made aware that my donation would have an extra charge added.

Will never use this site again!

Not easy to use, defaults to 15% TIP, no obvious way of leaving a message of support until after the donation.

Use Just Giving instead as it’s far superior.

Disgustingly, they refused to release millions of dollars of funds raised to support freedom fighters resisting the current move into global technocratic tyranny. Never ever use this company unless you are okay with seeing your bank notes burn

Do not use this company money donated in good faith for honest peaceful truckers has been stolen by gofundme. Untrustworthy, racist, virtue signalling fascist company. Supports blm, antifa etc but not peaceful groups. Avoid.

They literally take your money and decide what they want to do with it. Do not use this platform.

What use is a fundraising service if they are politically aligned with the establishment? So, you can raise funds as long as you don't have views the government overlords disagree with? It's absolutely laughable that BLM and Antifa, both politically motivated, were able to burn down cities, destroy peoples lives and kill people with impunity, whilst raising money on GoFundMe without a hitch, meanwhile, a genuinely peaceful protest for freedom gets banned. We know the real reason this has happened, and it's nothing to do with terms of service. GoFundMe bent the knee to the authoritarians, and as far as I'm concerned, the service is now defunct.

Gofundme are a theiving bunch of spineless compliers. Thet have literally stolen $9M from the Canadian truckers who are fighting for our rights of freedom. Do not use this company if you believe in freedom for all.

This company works with governments and imposes its own personal politics on fundraisers. This means that if your cause involves protesting something the government are doing which you think is wrong, or a cause which this company disagrees with, they will take your money and give to organisations of their choosing. This company has serious conflicts of interest which it has not been transparent about with the public. Do not donate via this company if you want assurance your money will reach its intended recipient. Try ethical companies such as GiveSendGo instead.

The Ottawa Police Chief seemingly changed his narrative on a peaceful protest which used this service to provide funding. This may have come as a result of pressure from the Canadian PMO. I have receipts. Search YouTube for the following two Next News Network videos: "GAME OVER: Police Chief OBLITERATES Trudeau over Trucker Protest Proving He's Truly A Hoser", and "Police Say Bring In The Army After Tractor-Driving Farmers Break Barricade To Join Freedom Convoy". I could not find originals, but the first seems to have come from CPAC, and the second, CBC.
None the less; this change in narrative likely served to have the funding raised for hard-working, freedom-loving patriots to be held, and effectively, canceled.

GoFundMe is horrible! They froze our funds (in the millions) for our Freedom Convoy 2022 hero truckers and were going to give them to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, etc. Wow, I'll never, ever trust them again!

Removing the funds for the Truckers is disgusting. I will never donate via GFM again.

Absolutely outrageous company. Freezong the funds sonated by people for causes of their choice just becuase they dont like it. I wonder if the police will investigate this a white collar crime of theft/fraud/money laundering
