uk.visa.it.com is a scam

1. Description of the Incident
On 21 August 2025, I attempted to apply for a UK ETA from Bulgaria for myself, my husband, and my son. I was misled by a third-party website that appeared to be official:uk.visa.it.com.
I completed the application form on their site, but at no point was the final cost shown before or during payment. After submission, my credit card was charged USD $249 per person – a total of USD $750.
Later, I learned the official UK ETA fee is only £10 to £20, and it must be processed through the UK government's official website (gov.uk). The site I used falsely appeared to be affiliated with the government, did not provide any fee breakdown, and used deceptive design and language.
No visa was issued, and the site was not working as no photos of the passports could be uploaded.

Paid for ETA never delivered

My disabled mother paid for an ETA through this website. It was never supplied. Money down the drain. Company does NOT respond to support requests. Scam, do not use.

Obviously my mom should have used the official channels from the UK government. But how would she know that; she isn't British :(.. The official website from the UK gov is a nightmare to navigate, which does not help either.
