Great tech provider. I am really happy dealing with them
The shipment was really fast, product arrived on time. The customer service was very helpful in resolving my issue. I will definitely buy from them again.
Very ineffective and slow customer service
Received item in the wrong color. I sent multiple emails trying to get it exchanged but no response so after leaving a poor review for the item someone finally reached out. Communication with customer service is bad and seems to be automated messages that half don’t make sense and take forever for a response. They also had the nerve to ask for a review before sending the proper item. Shameful. Definitely will not buy from here again.

My order was originally wrong
My order was originally wrong, but they fixed it! It took a little longer than I had hoped, but they compensated! 10/10 will recommend!
Support
At first, I was disappointed to receive the wrong color of the mouse, but after the issue was resolved by customer support, I’m absolutely thrilled with the outcome.
I bought a keyboard from WhatGeek…
I bought a keyboard from WhatGeek because I liked how it looked and I liked the sound of the switches.
Upon ordering, dispatch was relatively fast. I got a tracking number which showed where my keyboard was with a map, which was really helpful. Upon entering the UK, the keyboard was delivered by Royal Mail (yay!). Delivery was within the advertised timeframe.
The keyboard was packaged super well and is exactly as advertised (and the switches are delicious). I would very happily purchase from WhatGeek again as a keyboard novice.
Never got item
Ordered a handheld, it never turned up. Contacted whatgeek, no reply, contacted their very weird delivery firm, no reply. Attempt a case dispute with PayPal that amazingly failed. So having to resort to chargeback. Zero communication throughout from whatgeek, don't ever buy
Edit (after whatgeek reply)
Still not heard anything after 20 hours. Not exactly the immediate response I was hoping for.

Whatgeek was great to work with
Whatgeek was great to work with. I asked for a change to my order and they were super accommodating. I'll definitely buy from them again.
Customer service? What's that?
Three stars because I got what I ordered. I want to give fewer, but in the end it was fine.
They really need to work on their communication. Their website tells you little to nothing about if your order is actually being fulfilled. Nor, do they answer your emails in any meaningfully useful timeframe. Important things when one is sent a tracking number that doesn't work.
Their official Discord is full of people wondering if they are going to get their order/if they can get a refund for non delivery, but no replies from Whatgeek, except for the occasional automated response when it feels like doing so. With nobody sending any useful answers, I even thought about reversing the charges. If it wasn't for a few people online saying that they did in fact eventually get the things the ordered, I would have.
In the end it was fine. And, the product is good. But I don't need that kind of stress in my life. Just send tracking numbers that work, and answer an email.
Oh... the best part. I got a reply to my original email today, 6 days after it had been delivered. It had a working tracking number and they let me know that it had been delivered.

Never again
Never again. I placed my order with an old delivery address, which I asked the company to fix, a few minutes later. They said they would do so but lo and behold the item was send to the wrong address. They appear to ship from China. Finally after a month of frustration I was able to pick up the item. In the meantime I ordered the same item on Amazon and it arrived a day later.

Good service!
UkWhatgeek… The absolute worst! AVOID!
At the time of composing this review, the 1 star negative reviews are at 36% - That should tell you how this review is going to go.
I ordered a Ambernic Rg353ps from this company, and what a disaster it was.
They said it would ship between 5-15 working days. I eagerly awaited the passing of days, excited to get an update of its impending arrival… nothing!
I checked my order with their shipping, only to get the answer “Can’t Find Order”.
I sent an email by replying to the original order confirmation email… nothing, no reply.
I sent another email, this time to their customer support, now requesting a refund… nothing, no reply.
Then I tried the message box on their website, seems it’s an automated bot, even that ignored me… nothing, no reply.
I realised at this point, they had no intention of following through with the contract between us, and I wouldn’t get my handheld console anytime in my lifetime, so I decided to contact my credit card company. I tasked them with claiming back my money and they got onto that immediately (now that’s customer service). Surprisingly, a few hours later UkWhatgeek, send me an email, enquiring about my order, not offering me a refund themselves, but rather, and only now asking “have you received it”, “have you not received it”, or “have you cancelled it? (so much for tracking, they didn’t even know whether it had left or not!)
The email wasn’t even sent by a member of customer service support (apparently I didn’t even warrant that basic courtesy), instead it was sent by someone with the pseudonym “Sitejabber” on behalf of UkWhatgeek. I decided to take the UkWhatgeek course of action, so I ignored their email.
After another 3 weeks, I contacted my credit card company again, and they said they would refund the cost back to me (which was returned to me within 2 days). Once again my credit card company’s action triggered something, because low and behold, a few hours later UkWhatgeek send me an email (it seems my credit card company has more of an influence with them, than I do 🤔, strange that), an email quoting the incorrect order number, and for the generic attention of “Dear Customer”, spectacular service! 😂
I’d say their customer service is quite possibly, the most atrocious I’ve ever experienced, but that would mean I’d seen evidence of said service, of which, sadly, I have not.
It looks like this isn’t a UK company at all. My recommendation is stay clear, this is a terrible company with no real customer support, that will likely ignore you completely (unless you are a credit card company of course).
I look forward to the robotic apology that is usually posted under a negative review by UkWhatgeek, they’re always good for a laugh.

Quick and kind
Quick contact about an out of stock product and very kind when replacing my order
I happy with the service
I happy with the service. They have really helped in replacing R36 Max handheld console from 64 GB to 128 GB at not extra costs. Thank you😊
Faulty Keyboard…
I ordered a Keyboard from Whatgeek my initial experience with customer service was great item was delivered within a week on receiving my keyboard the battery has a default doesn't charge properly and only holds its charge for an hour or two, which is no use to me as I want to use the keyboard in Bluetooth mode all the time went back to customer services and explained the issue took ages for them to come back i asked for a full refund and they have come back with £10 refund and for me to keep this faulty Product totally unacceptable. I expect a full refund and for whatgeek to pay for the shipping to return the item as it is totally not my fault, really disappointed in the whole experience as I have read some reviews saying it is a quality company i look forward to your reply

Great Customer Service :)
Bought a keyboard from them that unexpectedly stopped working and was able to get a replacement with minimal trouble.
Bought an item from here
Bought an item from here, and after 2 weeks I thought I'd check whether it had been dispatched.
They then sent an email saying the item as out of stock and discontinued. I'm sure had I not got in touch they would have kept my money and not sent anything.
This company is a scam, avoid at all costs

Scam-Like Service
Absolutely awful experience with UK.Whatgeek. I ordered two keyboards, both of which were poorly made, one keyboard felt cheap and plasticky, and the RGB on the other died after just a week. To make things worse, delivery took 20 days, which is shocking for a company claiming to be UK-based. If I wanted to wait that long, I’d order from AliExpress and pay less!
When I tried to return the items, I was offered a pathetic £10 refund, or I had to pay for return shipping to China. Why am I returning to China if this is a UK company?
The customer service is slow and useless. The last time they responded, they said they would "come up with a solution in 48 hours" and then they ghosted me.
Save yourself the time, money, and frustration and buy from Amazon or literally anywhere else. This company is a joke. Avoid at all costs!

Misleading and slow
This website is misleading. Despite initial impressions, this is not a UK website, it is not UK stock, and they are not a UK company - something I found out all too late.
I ordered an item on 9th January 2025. I messaged them via their website's live chat at 10:19am on 14th January as I hadn't heard anything. They didn't reply until 07:59am the 15th, but I did get a dispatch notification email at 11:10am on the 14th. I have to wonder if my message prompted them to act.
The tracking info made my heart sink though, Yun Express, based in China, and not expected to arrive until 8th February, almost a month to the day from when I ordered. That was not what I expected and, had I known, I would have shopped elsewhere.
The website's address is uk.whatgeek.com, all prices are shown in £ GBP, and it says, "Free shipping in the UK only" on the product page. All of this would lead you to reasonably assume that this is a UK company with stock located in the UK, and I suspect they do that on purpose.
Now, there is one red flag. It says shipping takes 5 to 15 working days (at checkout only, by the way, you won't find that mentioned at all on the product page). Even this is misleading, as 15 working days from 9th January would be 30th January. My package is expected by 8th February, 21 working days after the order date.
Had I known the truth, I wouldn't have ordered from this company. I would have paid the extra £10 or so from other sellers who are actually in the UK, and I would have - and be enjoying - my device by now.
This experience so far has me wondering if I'll even receive what I ordered, let alone a working unit. I guess I'll find out next month. Right now, I fear I've potentially been scammed, and I'll receive a brick or something other than what I ordered given their conduct so far.

I have ordered twice and its great
I have ordered twice from uk.whatgeek and both times my items have arrived. Yes it does does take a little while to arrive in uk but you will see tracking all the way through. Customer service is great and have answered all my queries. Will be ordering again!
