Unreliable card never arrived in time. Poor communications. Failed to refund In the agreed time in fact was even longer than their statutory time. Would not recommend to others

Very disappointed and not satisfied with the service. Card never arrived in time for holiday was delivered later than their maximum time slot. Poor communications with staff. They agreed to refund within 3 days. In fact it took over the stated 10'days that they state I. Their website. Would strongly not recommend to others. In the end had to use a Thomas Cook pre paid card which worked excellent .

Easy process, great rates, well worth it IMO

I heard about Ukash through a variety of sources and decided to try it out for my recent European break. Process is very easy, rates are really good and there didn't appear to be any hidden charges. You need to get this more than a week in advance though as it can take up to 7 days to get your card.

Follow Up Review - Use in Spain & France

Have just returned from Spain and France. Card worked as expected and no charges for cash-point use or non-sterling transaction fees. Only down side is the App to manage the card is fiddly, but this is a quibble and could be very easily sorted. Great way to travel and a must for any trip to a Euro zone destination.

Not impressed with customer service.

I cannot really review because I haven't had a chance to use the card yet. I reset my password and somehow locked my account. I emailed customer service and received the usual automated reply promising to contact me within 24 hours. That was 3 days ago and I am now on holiday in Euroland with no means of loading money onto the card. Poor back up service.

Unusable

Put £500 onto a euro card and £500 on a usd card followed activation instructions entered a pin and card numbers arrived on holiday and card not useable at cash machine. So now using regular account and getting charged £2.50 a transaction

Website improvement

I have signed up for the Euro card to take on my holiday's. I think it would be easier for customers if the exchange rates where on the first page of the website with a link to top up your account from there. Rather than having to sign in to your account straight away just to get the rates.

Transferred amount was debited twice from my account in error, told refund will take 10 working days and travel card took 9 days to arrive

I read the reviews for Ukash and the article on moneysavingexpert which highly recommended Ukash due to its good exchange rates and having no fees compared to other travel debit cards. Although it was fairly new and untested I thought I'd give it a go. Firstly the amount (£1000) that I transferred to the card into dollars was debited twice from my account by accident. I had to apply for a refund which I was told would take around 10 working days. The card was ordered on 1st Aug and only arrived on the 10th Aug, the day before I was due to leave the country. The customer services team were easily contactable but have offered no real apologies or compensation for this inconvience. Hard to see me using this service again.

Amazing product

I have purchased a travel money card for my holiday this summer which had the best exchange rate and features within the market. Easy payment abroad, widely accepted and I can even withdrawal money at bank machine for free.
