DISAPPOINTING
Disappointing - Rental
All good with the initial emails regarding rental, which is priced with no variable time period option (just fixed monthly, etc up to one year set term, and consequent fixed costs).
It is impossible to know what the delay will be from the NHS (as average delays vary by region) so the assortment of time periods (terms) may maximise the expense to the customer.
Initial email offered a number of options and, three days later, another email which then included "after discussing your sleep study results and preferences with my colleague,,," and a "most suitable option" for me is then made, for the first time.
My Immediate thought is WHY WASN'T THERE ANY CONSIDERATION of the most suitable option for me, in THE FIRST PLACE. The sleep study was submitted prior to the original email response, (which excluded the 'most suitable option')
That is not how, I feel, a professional company will respond, particularly one to whom I entrust aspects of my health.
I did try to see if I could get the 'most suitable option' today, 9 March, but no-one was able to take my order.
I rang again at the time suggested, which met with no response. No order made and no 'next day delivery' possible.
I then went to a competitor, who were immediately able to provide sufficient information to enable me to decide, and placed my order.
The equipment arrives tomorrow and I have no regrets about my choice.
It is really disappointing as there has been information shared with Ukcpap and that was the only reason I made any attempt to order from them once I had been given better choices. Not to be.
I do not earn anything from this review and I have no grudges at all, so I hope that any readers are better informed and that Ukcpap have the opportunity to consider what is said, and ensure my experience is not shared again
