Do NOT use this Company

Since the PowerFlush carried out by this company 5 days ago our gas boiler has been making a strange noise and keeps losing pressure. We are having to re-pressurise it every day which means something has gone wrong. I've contacted the owner, Derek, and left phone and text messages for him but I've had no response from him. He was quick enough responding when he thought he could get our business.

I'm having to call someone in to look at the boiler, and if it is determined it is going to cost us money to get it repaired then I shall be claiming back any costs from this company even if it means taking them to the small claims court.

I also did not like the employee’s intimidating behaviour. After completing the work he was adamant he would not leave the house before I had made a bank transfer. When I went to my office to make the payment instead of waiting downstairs he followed me up to the 3rd floor of my house and seated himself on the sofa while I made the payment.

The invoice I've received from Derek says that an inhibitor has been fitted but we can't see it and we are not sure where it is located or whether it is that which is causing the boiler problem.

Given that no-one is calling us back or responding to our calls any guarantee by this company is completely worthless.

All of this amounts to completely unprofessional behaviour.

Ok after various attempts to get this removed i feel that i must outline various concerns we have with this individual and her attempts to discredit our company and our employees.
We will outline a true account off our dealings all documented.

1st contact 13/06/24 requesting a powerflush after various messages back and forth we agreed on 02/07/24 booked job.

2nd contact Hello Derek.
You're due to come round on Tuesday 2 July, but I will need to postpone for a short while as I have work going on in the house and won't be finished before the middle of next week, so would you be available on Friday 5 July?

3rd contact 01/07/24 Good afternoon.
I've been told by my workmen that the works are taking longer than anticipated and they will be here until the end of this week. So apologies, but I think we have to move the date for this power flush. They will definitely be finished by the end of this week, so I think if you are available on Tuesday 9 July that would work for me.

We rebooked for a 3rd time 18/07/24

We then received a message even though we had already discussed costs etc at this point we should have walked away bearing in mind this woman is SENOIR LEGAL ADVISOR FOR THE DEPT OFF BUSINESS AND TRADE and she is trying to pay me cash to avoid vat HOW IRONIC.

We duly declined.

We then carried out flush as agreed on the 18th and all was well we received payment on completion as per standard.

I was then off on holiday for a few days and missed a message from mrs nasser late friday afternoon however she sent another message on the tuesday which i picked up instantly and replied as below as you can see from the message very arrogant tone.

Can you please respond to my messages please.
I've asked you to contact me because there is an issue with my boiler since Paul carried out the power flush last Thursday. The issue needs to be addressed, and I'm giving you this opportunity to find out from your customer what the issue is.

Which i did and had to on various occasions ask for the tone and aggresive manner to be dropped as i was trying to help so cut a long story short we agreed to attend next day however this was not suitable and agreed that friday afternoon would work.
She then left review stating i did not make contact which i clearly did , that paul was intimidating and was adamant that payment must be made offcourse payment must be made why would you think otherwise we have provided a service we would like to get paid,regarding pauls intimidating behaviour well why not bring that to my attention on the day well because it never happened the same as all the other accusations never happened.

4th contact we had arranged to attend on the friday to investigate issues well low and behold 1hr before visit she cancels again unreal.

As off now 03/08/24 i have had no respond even after making contact twice i have give her every chance to remove the review and waited all to no response.
PLEASE NOTE HER OTHER REVIEWS ALL 1 STAR AGGRESIVE NATURE THREATING SMALL CLAIMS THIS THAT AND THE NEXT THING.

First class

First class. Dave was great, informed us of the process and was excellent at problem solving. We have a solid fuel heating system and the heating will not be on into at least late September 2024, so hopefully we will notice a difference? Mr Hunter acknowledges this and indeed has said to contact him again if we have discrepancies and indeed we have a 5 year warranty. Excellent service. Would recommend. Thanks Dave and Derek

Great Service!

Rang on Monday and they came within the same week. My boiler is working again now after a full system flush of 11 radiators and a month of the boiler being on and off. Really quick, great communication, very polite service and very informative all the way through booking, being at the house and doing the work. I would definitely use this company again and recommend to anyone if they ever need their help - thank you again!

Our visit by Tom was punctual,who explained the process fully. He carried out the flush over 20 radiators and was persistent in getting the system clear.
We have noticed an improvement in the overall performance of each radiator thus making the overall heating system more efficient. Thank you

System flush overdue

Our system hadn't been flushed in many years and was showing signs of issues, such as noisy pipes and banging in various places .... The company is very responsive, got an appointment quickly. Dan arrived on time, gave plenty of explanations of what he needed to do, all went smoothly. All in all a good and professional service. Recommended!

What can I say - amazing

What can I say, these guys were great, was able to explain the situation to Derek, who got the situation straight away, booked in (unfortunately they had a theft of equipment the morning of the appointment (Friday) - but communicated straightaway and booked in an engineer (Tom) for the following Monday (who had to travel 400 hundred miles there and back to accommodate. Tom was amazing, quick respectful and got our system singing again. - fully recommended

Excellent service from ukpowerflush

Excellent service from ukpowerflush , what makes this company standout from the others is that when I had a issue there was no excuse or fobbing me off even though I had paid for the work in full , after a successful power flush and all my radiators working , two radiators went cold again I spoke to derek who sent someone the very next morning, I also had a small leak not related to there work and also fixed it. So I would highly recommend ukpowerflush.

Do NOT use this company

If I could make a review of less than 1 star I would do so. Do not use this company under any circumstances. They currently owe me £649 For materials ordered and not recieved. Their representative who attended our home to carry out a powerflush was adamant that the boss, (MrDerek Hunter), would not allow him to leave until he had payment in advance. When the goods did not turn up we asked for a refund, which Mr Hunter agreed to. Despite many emails (largely ignored), registered letter (paid the princely sum of £1 into my account, telephone calls, - he put down the phone, Further emails etc I now find myself having to take court action to recover my money. In view of impending court action I cannot say any more at this time. But despite how threatened you may feel, especially if you are elderly like my wife and I, NEVER HAND OVER MONEY IN ADVANCE. This review was posted by Mr McInally, based in Cheshire in the UK. NOT IN THE STATES I LIVE IN THE UK AND UK POWERFLUSH OBVIOUSLY, AS THEIR NAME IMPLIES, IS A UK FIRM.
YOU KNOW DAMN WELL WHO I AM. I SOMETIMES USE A VPN FOR PRIVACY AND THE NAME JOE PENNY just like many other people. I am not nuts and your whole attitude repaying the £650 you owe to me clearly demonstrates the way you operate. I have printed copies of all emails from Mr Hunter as my solicitor has requested and will be producing them in court. Don't think you can wriggle out of this by insulting me. If you had paid the money you owed, as originally agreed, then the matter would not have gone this far. I am simply stating the truth.As you know. and as my bank statement proves, you were paid for the Powerflush
The £650 you still owe me is for radiators to be supplied by yourselves and were not. Again,this can be proven by my bank statement. Mr Hunter, agreed, in writing to refund the money because they did not arrive on the date specified. So far Mr Hunter has repaid £1. TO CLARIFY ..... we are not complaining about issues with the powerflush, as previously stated we simply want money back for radiators not supplied.CAN YOU NOT READ. The powerflush was paid for. Bank transfer direct into Mr D Hunters account. END OF.

Excellent, quick and clean service

The service engineer arrived promptly and got on with the powerflush of my heating system in a very efficient and knowledgeable manner. He explained the process to me and took care in everything he did; very professional from start to finish.
Almost half the price of my gas provider too!

Powerflush

Boiler needed a power flush as boiler was over heating kept tripping out with error codes could have used my regular plumber but he wanted too much money don’t think he would have done a thorough job.
So I went for a company that specialises in power flush and I glad I did.
From the time I enquired to when the engineer turned up I was kept informed by text of time and date.
Paul the engineer that arrived to do the power flush was very professional and very thorough using magnets and up to date power flush machine to clean the system explained all the process.
No more noise from the boiler sounds a lot smother know and No overheating.
After Paul had Finished he checked everything making sure all working good before he left.

Professional, Clean and 10 Star service

I can't recommend or praise these guys highly enough, simply brilliant. Booked my system to be flushed but the boiler conked out on the day they arrived. Not a problem, they still completed the full flush and then returned when I had a new boiler installed to make sure.all the radiators did not have cold areas, flushing out two radiators that were heavily clogged up. All part of the service, I'd give them ten stars if I could. Thanks lads

Excellent service

Excellent service from this company.
The service engineer was so informative about what to do and not to do to keep my heating system working as it should.
I had a shower that was always running cold/luke warm. Once the powerflush was done the shower was perfectly hot.
