Underworld is a true LGS. What do I mean by that? You can expect all of the card games under the sun and people there to play with. There is always a friendly face and a table to join. If you are ever in the area pop in, say hello and get a few games in. There is always plenty of your gaming essentials available for sale, snacks, drinks and trading cards. Oh My!

Very poor experience when checking this store out for the first time as a potential new LGS. Bought tickets to an event, no email confirmation. Went and played the event then once I had qualified for a top 8, was informed they expected deck lists to be submitted before the event (which had never been mentioned when I booked, or before the event started, and was not the case at my previous LGS). Gave me an automatic game loss for it which ultimately knocked me out.

On top of this, some very unfriendly people (not all, some were really nice) including one who tried to accuse one of my party of cheating (because I pointed out that both players had missed a game state check. They hadn’t both missed it, the accuser had intentionally avoided the reminding my friend to try to gain an advantage).

Overall, there are better stores in Nottingham, I recommend any one of them over this.

Brilliant atmosphere and wonderful owners. Always willing to talk and have a laugh with customers. And cheaper prices than competitors.
