TERRIBLE COMPANY & EVEN WORSE EMPLOYEES!!!

I am a Frontlines Healthcare Worker and work as a Travel Clinical Pharmacist. My current assignment which ends on 01/26/2024 is at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL. I scheduled my consultation regarding their program on: Saturday, June 24, 2023 at 12:00 P.M. CST. I explained every detail of my life regarding my employment and past that pertained to my teeth and orthodontics to a male named "Denis." I explained that I had very specific and detailed time constraints with my job and that if those time constraints were not able to be met I could not utilize their program. Denis assured me that he understood every concern and detail that I explained to him and that there would be no problems meeting the requirements and time constraints that I had. Since we were in agreement with everything I signed up for your program for in house financing. I was required to pay a $500 deposit to start your program. Denis spoke to the Clinic Manager "Patrick" and they asked me to pay $250 on 06/24/2023 and then exactly two weeks later they would bill the remaining $250. No one billed me the remaining $250 balance for the deposit two weeks later as they had agreed and stated they would do. On 07/28/2023 over a month later from my consultation and signing up for your program; I reached out via email and asked why no one had contacted me and where my aligners were? A female named "Kat" contacted me back and stated that she had no idea why no one had billed the remaining $250 balance for my deposit and she took care of it on that day. She also stated that the making of my aligners had not even been started yet and that it would take months to get them to me. I reached out via email regarding this horrible experience thus far on: 07/28/23, 08/04/23, 08/09/23, 08/19/23, and 08/29/23. On 08/21/23 I received a phone call from Patrick the Area Manager stating that they had just received my aligners in and he wanted to schedule an appointment for 08/24/23 for me to come in and get them fitted. I went in on 08/24/23 and the aligners that I had waited over two months to get did not fit at all. The orthodontist said they needed to redo the scan of my teeth and have them remake the aligners again and they would mail them to me. Meanwhile I am paying $300 per month during all of this and have not received anything in return. On Monday, December 19, 2023 I receive a text message stating that my aligners were going to be sent that day. Let me just recap this horrible experience for everyone: at this point I have paid well over $1,200.00+ and do not have any aligners at all and it has been 6+ months so far. When I received my aligners I was told there will be 4 sets of aligners and to put the number 1 set of first. Upon looking at my aligners I received I notice that I do NOT have a number 1 set. I have a 2, 3, 4, and 5. I immediately notify them of this and I am told again that they made a mistake. They stated that I could just start with the number 2 aligners and we would go from there. I have contacted my Attorney and gone over this situation in great detail with him. The agreements we have made have been broken countless times; and I do not feel safe or comfortable working with your company anymore. I have had my Attorney draft an official letter for the Attorney General's Office, The Better Business Bureau, and the Chicago Police Department regarding the illegal, fraudulent, gross misconduct, and disgustingly unprofessional way in which this entire situation has been handled.

***UPDATE***
Dr. Kjeld Aamodt the CMO/CEO of the company doesn't care and emailed me back to simply say that it was unfortunate that I have had a terrible experience; but that they were NOT going to do anything to fix the situation; nor were they going to refund the money I had paid for the services I had not received!

I have moved to another orthodontist and would highly recommend that anyone ever considering this company to RUN RUN RUN AWAY as fast as you can!!! FRAUDULENT & TERRIBLE COMPANY!!!

Uniform Teeth is a very dishonest…

Uniform Teeth is a very dishonest business that makes many promises and doesn’t follow through. They don’t tell you that for the rest of your life every six months to a year you have to buy new maintaining aligners because the old ones wear out. They tell you soon your teeth will be straightened, but only a few days unless you wear your night aligners. Bad dishonest business!

Uniform teeth unprofessional!!

Uniform teeth unprofessional!!! During the treatment with them, I lost a tooth and worsened the situation, that in the future my teeth cannot be treated with aligners. But my teeth could perfectly be cured before they destroyed them. I paid them $4050, the money was not returned yet!!!!

When 5 months after wearing their aligners I didn't see results and only lost a tooth, I asked them when we would get results. They appointed an apoitment in 2 months and asks to continue to wear them. After the apoitment, I doubted their ability to achieve a result. I went to consult to other orthodontists. Everyone said that it was Uniform teeth that ruined my teeth, they made the wrong design and the wrong treatment. My teeth could have been treated with aligners before them. And now it will cost me much more and longer. And I also spent my time, the money they used during this time, worsening the situation! I did not receive services and results!!!

Uniform teeth, give me back my money $4050!!!! And it is also desirable to pay for damaged teeth!

Don't go to them if you don't want to ruin your teeth!

It felt like a bad experience at a shady car dealership

I'm almost done with Uniform Teeth and it will have been almost 2 years since my initial consult. Overall, I'm disappointed by my experience with them and would not use them again. They seem to genuinely mean well, but I didn't feel that they delivered. The whole thing felt like a bad experience at a shady car dealership. I'm going to list out some of the issues that I had:

- Constant mis-estimation: I think I was told that I had "just a few weeks left" three or four times. The first time might have been about 9 months ago.

- Constant misleading: In a similar vein, I was often told things that didn't end up being true. The most egregious account was the "attachments" put on my teeth. These are small white things that look like buttons which are glued to your teeth -- it gives the trays something to grab onto. Before I started, they told me that I'd have 4-6. They ended up applying twice that number. The attachments were pretty conspicuous. I was not happy.

- Lack of continuity in service provider: Every time I went (or called), there was a different person giving me different information. They often made promises about the future...and when I showed up the next time, I had some other person taking care of me.

- Large lag time between sets of trays: The way this works is that you go in, they manufacture a set of "trays" (aligners) which you wear for a couple of months. Then you go back in. Each time I finished a set of trays, there seemed to be a 1-2 month lag in getting my next set in the mail. This is, of course, part of the process -- they need to adjust the trays based on your progress. However, they didn't disclose this to me up front. I wish I'd known that "6-9 months" of treatment meant 6-9 months PLUS another 6 months of waiting for stuff to come in the mail AND another 2 months of waiting for appointments between set of trays.

Al in all, the theme that I would pull out is "misleading." I felt like they got my payment and then changed everything on me -- the number of attachments and the length of treatment.

My last interaction with them was a session with the founder (Dr. Aamodt), where I described how I'd completely lost trust in Uniform Teeth. He seemed genuinely disappointed. He put on some free veneers as a consolation -- one veneer broke off a few days later. And then another 10 weeks of aligners came in the mail (after Dr. A himself told me that he expected 3-5 weeks worth).

Would not recommend.
