A world class platform
We chose the Unily platform because it offered a much more user friendly interface that off-the-shelf sharepoint and is clearly designed around user experience. In addition to the social features and flexibility, the relative ease of implementing for wider audiences than our O365 users made it a clear winner.
We implemented with a very, very small team client side, and were well supported by Unily, with a dedicated client success manager and for the implementation period a consultant who worked with us to deliver a product quickly, allowing us to roll out more features as our users got used to it.
It's platform that allows you to encourage a community of content providers and the flexibility to shape it as you see fit. We replaced our intranet at a time we were rolling out O365, Unily was the perfect platform to bring together all that extra functionality in a way that users find easy to access and understand.
Ongoing support has been superb, regular reviews, an on-call CSM and a very responsive support team should it be needed. As a communications professional I wish I'd had this platform in many of my previous roles, it's truly world class.
