Banks takes your money

In case a transaction fails but debited from your account, consider that money is taken by Union bank. They will reply that the transaction is successful but as a customer we will not be able to see the transaction because of technical error. The customer support will avoid your calls by saying application is down or complaint is in progress thereby making you wait for years. They don’t follow rbi rules in returning the money or the penalty they are accountable. Branch managers are rude and they literally answered they cannot answer for technical error but they were not able transaction on their side as well. So called back end team are the one saying transaction is successful but the status is timed out when I check. RIDICULOUS.

Beware of their fixed rate bonds

Beware of their fixed rate bonds - they are paying SIMPLE INTEREST - not compound interest so the advertised interest rates for any term longer than 12 months are actually significantly less
