My husband and I bought puffajackets from them on same day. He has worn his daily, mine only a handful of times 1-2hrs. The padding has separated into cotton balls making the jacket basically 2 layers... See more

Easy to shop and great quality!
AVOID, AVOID, AVOID - service is terrible
AVOID, AVOID, AVOID…Bought £250 of products. When I got them home, one of the tops (which was folded when I picked it up and bought it like most of the products stacked high in the shops) was badly marked. I took it to another store near home to return given I purchased in that condition. They refused to refund the product - accusing me of marking the product. I was astounded. The manager and staff were utterly useless in assisting. I won’t be buying anything from Uniqlo again - and would advise others not to either. Service is appalling.
Great products, awful customer service
Uniqlo do great basics and I buy loads from them BUT the experience is extremely frustrating. I've paid for next day delivery and the items didnt come next day (despite my having ordered before the cut-off) and customer service refused to refund the next day delivery fee. They also refuse to accept returns for items ordered online in their stores - its 2026! And finally, today I got an email saying that I have returned too many items - despite not having ordered anything since December - and if I continue to return things, they may suspend or cancel my account. Unbelievable. It's like they actively don't want customers.
Gift card rip off - credit card cash transaction fee
I bought a Uniqlo gift card, Uniqlo have subbed this out to Buyatab...
By using Buyatab you end up with an extra 5% "tax" on the transaction as it appears on your credit card as a gift card and you get a cash fee and interest from the credit card provider.
Stick to buying gift cards in the supermarket with your groceries or just transfer the cash, but don't fall for this one.
Refund refused despite Royal Mail return confirmation
I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience returning an item to Uniqlo.
I returned an item within the stated returns period using Uniqlo’s own Royal Mail return service. I have email confirmation from Uniqlo that the parcel was collected and delivered, and both Uniqlo’s tracking and Royal Mail tracking clearly show the parcel as delivered to their warehouse.
After several weeks, I have not received a refund. When I got in touch with Uniqlo customer service team, they are refusing to issue a refund because I no longer have the small paper receipt provided at the parcel shop. This makes absolutely no sense! The paper receipt would not provide any additional information beyond what is already available through their own tracking system and Royal Mail’s tracking, both of which confirm successful delivery.
Instead of resolving the issue, their customer service team has refused to investigate the issue and simply repeated that they “require a paper receipt,” ignoring the clear evidence that the item was returned and delivered. They have not provided any meaningful explanation, nor have they offered to locate the parcel internally. I have effectively been told that despite confirmed delivery, they will not refund me.
This is an inflexible and unreasonable policy, particularly when customers are using Uniqlo’s own designated return method. Expecting customers to retain a tiny paper slip as the sole deciding factor, despite comprehensive digital tracking, is outdated and unfair.
I would strongly advise others to think carefully before making online purchases, especially higher-value items. If something goes wrong, don’t expect common sense or customer-focused resolution.
Very disappointing experience from a major retailer!
Do not use their online shop as they will steal money and items from you
I bought a jacket from Uniqlo which unfortunately did not fit correctly. I sent it back within the returns period via Uniqlo's own Royal Mail return service. It was received at their warehouse and then they sat on it for 2 weeks until I followed up. They then informed me a refund would not be possible as the "item was not received" despite there being evidence from both themselves and Royal Mail that the item reached their warehouse.
I have tried since to get further information from Uniqlo but they are vague and will not offer up any more information to me. They should either offer me the refund OR send me the item back but they've just referred me to Citizen's Advice to begin a dispute with them.
Disgusting customer service from their online team and I'm overall incredibly disappointed with how they acted.
Awful
Awful. Firstly I the wrong item was sent in my order at christmas time and it took loads of emails and chasing for them to send out the correct item despite it being a christmas present and christmas was looming. I used klarna as my payment type and despite returning within the correct time and both Royal Mail and Uniqlo acknowledging my return, they are refusing to issue a refund to Klarna! My refund was over 3 months ago and despite sending more than sufficient evidence, they are still being difficult and refusing to issue the refund. They have offered no assistance. I recommend to not buy off Uniqlo online, not worth the hassle and much better to just go in the store, or just not buy there at all.
Poor customer service, bad returns policy
I returned an expensive jacket online using Uniqlo's own service with royal mail. Following receipt of three separate emails from uniqlo which advised me my parcel had been collected and was in transit I discarded the small paper receipt I got from the post office.
However, several weeks later - no refund. Checking the tracking info with royal mail I could see the parcel had been delivered to Uniqlo. I questioned this with them and was told the parcel could not be found, but that I would get no refund as I no longer had the paper receipt- despite the fact I had 3 separate emails from uniqlo to prove I'd posted it, and tracking from royal mail to show it had been delivered.
No matter how I challenged this I got the same response back - "our t&c's state you must have a paper receipt to get a refund", a completely non-sensical policy in the face of ample other evidence to prove postage.
This went back and forth over several emails to much stress, until they randomly decided to refund me when I asked for this to be escalated to managent
What is going on with a major retailer having such a shoddy inflexible approach and contempt towards their own customers?
I would never use them again, and would urge others to be very wary, particularly for high value purchases
Uniqlo has turned into Sports Direct
It's really disappointing to see Uniqlo nosedive like it has.
Firstly, you cannot return items to their stores, and if you're not in to receive the (non specified delivery timed) items, they will immediately ship it to a local delivery hub for collection. Only this takes over 24 hours.
Frankly, having gone from being one of the best e-commerce experiences to the worst in record time is quite sad. Buy in-store if you can. Online best avoided.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. I cannot believe a company this size won't allow online orders to be returned to a retail store and actually charges their customers a return fee. It's pathetic.
Clothes are great but their delivery…
Clothes are great but their delivery system lets them down. If youre not in to receive your parcel it gets sent to a local co op where you are given 1 day to collect it, it is then returned to Uniqlo and you are charged delivery costs plus you don't get your order.
They use DHL who are normally good and leave my parcels in agreed safe place but not when it's from Uniqlo. you therefore have to make sure you are in for whenever it arrives and you don't get anemail about delivery date until that morning.
Strongly advise buying in store if you can
DISGUSTING FRAUDULENT COMPANY
DISGUSTING FRAUDULENT COMPANY - AVOID.
Returned order to them, and they have refunded me for 2 items less than I returned and are refusing to acknowledge this, so I'm out of Pocket
They have advised me contact Citizens advice rather than resolve the issue themselves, truly a disgusting company.
Customer Experience Feedback – Glasgow Branch
I am writing to share feedback regarding a recent experience at your Glasgow branch, as it has significantly impacted my perception of your brand.
I have been a loyal customer of your Manchester and Glasgow stores for the past couple of years and have always appreciated the quality, design, and fit of your clothing. Over that time, I estimate I have spent well in excess of £1,000 with your business.
During a recent visit to your Glasgow branch, I attempted to exchange two pairs of jeans I had purchased, having realised I had selected the wrong size. While one pair was accepted, the second was refused due to the tags having been removed.
I understand that company policies exist for a reason. However, I felt that in this situation there was an opportunity to apply some discretion and common sense. The items were clearly new, unworn, and part of a wider purchase that I was able to evidence. Given my history as a returning customer, I had hoped for a more flexible and customer-focused approach.
What was particularly disappointing was the interaction with the on-duty manager, Amy. I found her manner to be overly rigid and lacking in interpersonal engagement. Rather than acknowledging my perspective, she repeatedly reiterated the policy without any attempt to explore a reasonable resolution or demonstrate understanding.
As a result, I left feeling undervalued as a customer. While I have previously enjoyed shopping with your brand, this experience has unfortunately led me to reconsider returning in the future.
I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as I believe a more balanced and empathetic approach to customer service would greatly enhance the overall experience.
Customer care (returns) terrible! Never order online!
Quality of the clothing is good but customer service involving returns is terrible. Would never(!!) ever order online again. Still got a lot of money in dispute. Never experienced this again.
Lovely and quality clothes
Sad and so surprised to see so many bad reviews. This is one of my favourite clothes retailers. I have to admit that customer service is not impeccable but the layout of the clothes is neat and it is always easy to find what I am looking for. I love their shops and only wished the shop on Oxford Street was a bit bigger. It is always very busy there.
Unbelievably bad customer service
Unbelievably bad customer service! I now know why there is so many Uniqlo items on Vinted! It’s easy than returning items. Stupidly I asked for Uniqlo vouchers for my birthday. I bought items then destroyed the cards. I returned some items due to sizing issues, this took ages. I emailed Uniqlo and explained I no longer have the gift cards and have been told there’s nothing they can do. Surely the original card details can be cancelled and new issued! So my family’s money and my gifts are lost/stolen. What a disgrace Uniqlo.
Order missing 8 items, Uniqlo refused refund after fake investigation – long-term customer dismissed
I placed order #0720009032602011959-5849044 for £93.10. My parcel arrived in a torn/ripped package – inside was 1 item (£24.90), 8 items (£68.20) missing.
I contacted Uniqlo immediately, provided photos of the damaged packaging and the single item. They promised a 7‑day investigation. Silence. When I chased, they replied: “Our investigation confirmed the order was packed and delivered correctly” and “we are unable to assist further.”
A torn package is not “delivered correctly”. They ignored the physical evidence, ignored my loyalty (I order ~10 times per month for years), and ignored the Consumer Rights Act 2015 – the risk of loss in transit stays with the seller until I receive the goods safely.
If you order online from Uniqlo and something goes wrong, you are on your own. Do not expect fairness or accountability. I will never shop with them again.
Uniqlo online shop is a joke
This online shop is a joke, delivery process is very painful, they simply ignore your delivery instructions and force you to go and pick the item in some remote location ... Juste crazy and there is absolutely no customer service
Beside be aware the product sizing from the online site is not the same as in the shops in town
Great Products, Frustrating Courier Code System
I ADORE Uniqlo. I've been shopping with them for over 15 years. The price-quality ratio is one of the best in the world, but most especially in Italy. However, I'm tall, and my size is not readily available in stores. It's also an hour train ride to the nearest location. Shipping to my address makes the most sense, but a code is required to release the package. The system wouldn't be so bad except that the code is sent by email only a few hours before delivery to your home or ferma point. We need more advanced notice because if you don't see the email and you are not home when the package arrives, it gets sent back to the Uniqlo warehouse. What a waste of time and energy! It's also very frustrating for the BRT couriers. Uniqlo must find a better delivery system because I am giving up at this point.
Poor quality and disappointing customer support
Quality issues (pilling + hole) and unacceptable handling by customer service
I purchased the Soufflé Yarn Crew Neck Sweater (item 479157) via the official UNIQLO online store. After normal, careful use, the fabric showed noticeable pilling within a very short time. Shortly afterwards, a hole developed in the middle of the garment – not along a seam or in an area typically exposed to mechanical stress.
I contacted UNIQLO customer support and provided photos. My claim was rejected twice with the generic statement that the issue was “not consistent with a manufacturing fault.” No technical explanation was provided at any point. Even after explicitly asking how such damage could occur under normal use, no evidence or reasoning was given, and communication eventually stopped.
This is particularly concerning as it does not appear to be an isolated case. I found multiple customer reviews describing very similar issues, including heavy pilling after minimal use and even holes forming shortly after purchase. My experience therefore seems to reflect a broader quality concern rather than a one-off incident.
In addition, under EU consumer law (Directive (EU) 2019/771), defects that become apparent within the first year are generally presumed to have existed at the time of delivery unless proven otherwise. In this case, no such proof was provided by UNIQLO.
Overall, this experience reflects poorly on both product quality and customer service. I would have expected either a straightforward replacement or at least a transparent, technically sound explanation.
Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this product or the way UNIQLO handles such complaints.
