UnitedCare Hair Transplant Clinic Turkey Reviews 

After doing a lot of research into a HT in turkey, I settled on unitedcareclinic with Dr Utkan. It’s always a risk flying overseas to an unknown medical system. Suffice to say, I am thoroughly impressed and satisfied with unitedcare clinic. In the days after, one tends to meet others at the airport or restaurants who have gone through the same journey in Turkey, and there is a bond that brings us together to share experiences. I realised that not all experiences were the same, and it made me appreciate unitedcare all that more. I do know I paid a little more than some other places, but I believe it was well spent and would do the same again.
Let me specific about the points that makes unitedcare unique and, from what I believe, one of the best clinics to engage from my discussions with others who have been to Turkey for HT.
1/ Dr Utkan is passionate about what he does. How do I know – read his blog that he keeps up to date monthly with very informative articles / journals that are well footnoted. Dr Utkan is always looking for continuous improvements and keeps abreast with the best technologies.
2/ Care assistant App – A few folks I met after the operation from other clinics had far less follow up guidance, in particular unitedcare provides an application with specific directions ranging from health, exercise, medication etc that is tailored to one’s surgery date with timers to provide daily advice on what to do and consume etc.
3/ Dr Utkan and his team dedicate themselves to you for the whole day as well as the follow up days. This is not common with other places where there are separate teams for welcoming and preparation, surgery and follow up. Separate teams don’t provide for the trust and relationship that makes one feel secure and cared for during the surgery. One man at our hotel told me how he felt his dignity was robbed by people coming and going during this surgery with the door always open. For some, this may not mean much but I can also understand how it is comforting when in my case, this did not happen.
4/ A dedicated care assistant who is fluent in English provides a comfort factor to ensure one’s whole stay runs smoothly. Again, this was not consistent with the other hair clinics and provided a continuity through the time.
5/ The hotel and transport arrangements were really 5 star. One person I met at the airport told me how his hotel was next to a construction yard while another told me his hotel was 3 star at best. The former eventually moved himself out personally. Getting good rest before and after is key to some enjoyment and recovery, so this is vital to consider.
The whole experience did not feel like a “hair mill” for me. It felt safe and intimate.

I would definitely recommend UnitedCare if you are looking for a hair transplant. My experience was very positive and with help of the pre-operation instructions, I felt prepared. What stood out for me when choosing UnitedCare was the emphasis on 1 patient a day, indicating a small but involved team, the medical background of Dr. Utkan and the transparency on the website. Also the mentioning of a natural hairline being the main goal helped me in the decision making process.

Very skilled and experienced team. Each person had a specific role to play in each step of the procedure, planned and crucial steps executed by Dr. Utkan himself. He used a laser device and graftometer (microscope) to plan transplant according to how baldness should progress, and the scabs formed small and individually, a sign of appropriate spacing and good placement. Corners are especially sharp and I’ve gotten multiple compliments about them now. Thank you Dr. Utkan, definitely have my referral

I was really hesitant in the beginning but now I'm so glad I went to UnitedCare Clinic for my hair transplantation. My experience was terrific! It has been 3 months since the hair transplant operation by Dr.Utkan Kızıltaç. The operation and treatment processes were amazing. They were well organized, professional, and friendly. In general, I felt no pain, no uncomfortable sleep, nothing... The result seems to be amazing as well based on comments from friends and family. A most important and life changing experience of a lifetime. You see I’m turning 63 yo and if I had known theses facts before , I could have saved a lot of good hair follicles ( seeds for planting, so to speak). I profusely thank Dr Utkan and continue to do so coz I’m the most satisfied and grateful pt. He told me right away that I’m part of his UNITEDCARE family and good friend. I will forever cherish the moments when he took me to his office and we talked/ and talked leisurely,and also of post surgery care, what to do , expect. His executive assistant went over again on meds, diet, activity, etc. Also what activity , hat or no hat? He then asked me what my interests are and what else do I need to see. He ( Dr Utkan)downloaded the app on my phone for health screen so I can enter the subway/busses, restaurants, concerts, etc l knew he was the “ONE”Orkun , another ultra skilled assistant ( he’s L handed )and he performed my Zafir , punch method in planting the donor specimens also checked my head and gave a positive comment. They were all eager to see their work when bandages were removed and 1st wash was done. What made me feel good was that they have a lot of specialized people, delivering their services w ease. In US , there’s not enough help coz of overhead costs. The doctor performed over 50,000 cases, which is very comforting.
I had an episode of elevated BP 180-190 systolic before surgery and my doctor discussed to me the options, then proceeded calmly w medication choice. He had cardiology experience w/c is an added bonus. Also the biggest thing for he / assistants allowed me to listen to my own weird ( religious / Disney/ Broadway music in a speaker ( I forget my IPOD )w/ c really brought my BP to normal quickly. Until now 3 weeks later , him and executive asst. still follows me. So blessed with these refine, concerned professionals second to none. I have been looking for a treatment for a long time because of the scars that developed on my face due to the severe acne I experienced during my adolescence, the lines that bother me when I look in the mirror, the sunkenness and darkness of my eyes. When I realized that there was no significant improvement in a clinic where I applied with this complaint, although I received 4 sessions of peeling and PRP treatment, I applied to Dr. Utkan Kızıltaç upon the recommendation. I had my first hair transplant done by doctor Utkan in 2014. I was very pleased with the result. Since 7 years have passed and I did not receive any treatment during this period, I lost my own hair. Although the transplanted hair did not shed, my hair density decreased again. Doctor Utkan had informed me 7 years ago that the process would evolve like this. First of all, both dr utkan and his team are very friendly, very sensitive. I have always been satisfied with every subject and all the procedures he has done. Mesotherapy and botox procedures were applied to me.

I have been experiencing active hair loss for the last 5 years. I decided that it was time to receive a treatment, especially since I had suffered enough hair loss to make my scalp visible for the last 1 year. Since I am a doctor myself, I researched the medical literature in detail before applying to any clinic. The best of the information I received from the places I applied was made by dr utkan. After a detailed preliminary examination, we talked in detail about all treatments. In the following period, we also made the decision of hair transplantation, but we started mesotherapy and PRP treatment as it will be more appropriate at this stage. About 2 weeks have passed since my 2nd session and already my hair loss has almost completely stopped and the increase in my hair density is noticeable.

I had a nose filling at this clinic. Immediately after the procedure, it was exactly how I wanted from the front. But the tip was not as raised as I wanted. He said it was from the edema and when it is gone, the tip will raise. Amazingly, it happened exactly as he said afterward. He is an experienced, expert physician. You can trust him!!

First, let me state that this doctor is very different from the others. He was very friendly, explained the details very well. I got jawline filling done by him. The doctor I went to before recommended a couple more procedures but Utkan told me that they would be no use for me! Instead of selling more treatments, he just wanted the best for me! And normally when I feel the needle on my skin, my face turns pale and I pass out. However, he was so gentle and comforting and the work was so painless so I think I’ve overcome my needle fear.
