Looks pretty good in the advertising though in hand its functional ability and durability is questionable.
Handle feels quite comfortable though will give you blisters with continuous use/practice.
Forward heavy.
Has secondary bevel which isn’t ideal.
Moderately sharp out of the box.
Saya (scabbard) looks nice, light weight but doesn’t hold the blade firmly at all which makes the blade slip out very easily at the wrong carry angle.
Also produced from a very soft wooden substance, not whole wood but rather a composite wood material easily dented or scarred, lacquer finish is pretty thin.
Says it’s made from 1060 steel but I’m not 100% convinced as the grain is too prominent throughout the grind.
Do not have the equipment to test the hardness on the Rockwell scale.
Purchased in the uk from weapons galore as every other retailer discontinued sales of this product.
Well Overpriced for its quality and value.
