This Company is a Scam
This company is a SCAM and DO NOT INVEST ANY MONEY with them. I invested money with them and a trader took control but after 1 month they wanted more money and said if i didn't then they would close my account. I didn't pay anymore and the trader carried on trading for me amassed nearly £12,000 for me. Then i had a call from a Senior Manager asking for £3,500 and if i paid then the money would be in my account. I informed him to take out the £3,500 out of the £12,000 and pay me the rest he replied this is not the way they worked and even told me to get a loan from the bank for £3,500 . I didn't pay and soon after my account was closed and all contact with them ceased. Do not venture with this company at any cost.
Where are they now
Where are they now? Number does not exist and to be fair a brillaint scam. I even have another set of scam callers suggesting that they can get my investment back. I am not doing it, just write it off and treat as another lesson in life.
Fraud
Fraud
Put some money in, they always phoned asking for me to put more in, I said no.
The amount was increasing, I wanted to make a withdraw 5k, they told me I needed to pay 1k first. I said thats rediculous, even if your fee is 1k, then at least net it off and pay me 4k.
They said no. Then refused to answer any emails/calls thereafter.
Do not give your money to these fraudsters

NO STARS FOR UNIVERSAL-ASSETS
When I first spoke to them no one in their supposed office knew where they were working from as their address was Holland Park Avenue where I used to live I questioned them about where this address was and no one knew Holland Park at all which rang alarm bells. I kept them on a piece of string for several weeks until they realised I was not going to give them anymore money which really upset them, they did make £100 out of me but I really wanted to see how far they would go. I couldn't believe that they tried to tell me that my original £250 had multiplied into £65,000 obviously by this point I knew it was a scam so I scammed them by saying if they could prove they would return my money of at least £150 I would pay a lot more in, of course I did not, but they are definitely are scammers. Their address does not exist. Jeanette Scott was my supposed Account Manager. Not Very Experienced she tripped up many times.
lost my money - scammed!!
Basically what the previous review was from "Pam" on 20th April 2023 they have done they same to me. I was dealing with a Michael Palmer who seemed a genuine helpful man but suddenly he disappeared on a family issue abroad and Derek was my new account manager. He was only interested in speaking to me to try and get more money out of me and when I said I could not invested anymore than I already had he stopped calling me and ignoring my calls to talk about my account so I guess that is goodbye to my money as the website has now disappeared also! what an idiot I was. I should have trusted my gut instinct.
I still have not been able to get hold…
I still have not been able to get hold of anyone at this company, have send numerous emails etc.
My supposed account manager Derek Turner has stopped calling me, when he used to call me every week to encourage me to invest more, when I did not want to invest any more he funnily enough stopped calling. I want to withdraw my money and have send a request but now I cannot even login and the monies have not been given back to me. I cannot even go onto their website, it has just dissappeared.
Universal Assets give back my money!!!!
Scam they take your money and you get profit while they think they will get your money but the moment you want to take money out suddenly they cut all communication with you
Sent to Universal Assets support
I have been trying to withdraw funds for over two weeks now with no action from your side
I have tried to contact your authorised trader Derek Turner +442080890504 with only one call returned saying he is busy and will call us back to transfer the funds at 4pm he did not
Please contact me on 07821026334 to discuss transfer the funds to me
I have asked nicely and expected them to do the right thing but have had no reply from either Derek Turner or customer services so what happens next is down on them
I will be be putting this on my face book and Instagram accounts next week then i will be taken legal action against this company as we had a contract and as from the beginning of April they have not being in touch with me and are ignoring my e-mail and phone calls, lucky for me my 63k pension is only being transferred now and I will not be investing the 40k nett in Universal Assets, a break for me but when it comes give me a basis for taking this company to court for my balance
I will keep people updated as I go along
SCAM ALERT 😡😡😡

***ITS FRAUD***
***ITS FRAUD***
Please stay away from this Company. I only noticed recently their copyright status is out of date. The account Manager Matthew Harvey seems very lovely and well spoken. Upon asking to withdraw my money , was told at the beginning of each month I can withdraw 20% . Last week I need the money, he was not happy but then emailed me to say he had made arrangements and I'd be able to withdraw the money last Thursday and then was told its month end and their are delays. I was told today the money would be fine to withdraw and this morning I email him no answers and I notice my account has been locked. I can not get in touch with them on the phone number now don't connect and he is not responding to my email when normally when you are depositing money they respond pretty much straight away. Unfortunately, I recommended them to a friend who today also had their account locked for no reason. The bonuses they offer you when you bring another person on board are not allowed to be withdrawn until a month which is weird and now fake , that in reality you can't withdraw your money at all. However, they keep calling you with promotions to put more money. I today realise I have lost £7.5K so please do not sign up with this company its a scam! If I receive my money I will update this review.
Avoid this company at all costs …
I am saddened to read these reviews which mirror my fathers experience. Joanna Scott was also his ‘account manager’ who I understand was very pleasant on the phone ( I never managed to speak with her myself) but have heard excuse after excuse when asking for money to be refunded, including some of those already mentioned such as a ‘junior’ accidentally started investing. I started to be worried early on when the company offered to remotely access computer to set up on line account for him. I am so glad I was there that day when strangely the call didn’t go ahead. Clearly obvious to anyone talking to my father by phone that he is an older gentleman, with some memory problems which makes this all the more distasteful that vulnerable adults/older people are being exploited in this way, shame on them. It may be a small amount of money to some (£250) but is a huge amount to him.
PLEASE AVOID!
PLEASE AVOID!
My dad (Kevin Wood) has tried withdrawing some of his money. He was told by his account manager Josh Wise it’s in progress and that it would be in an account within 2 hours. This was 2 days ago and they have now disappeared of the face of the earth. They have preyed on someone with Alzheimer’s and taken the little savings he had. Absolute scum. I have passed on all details, including Josh wise’s full details to action fraud and also contacted the police.

I feel sick and very distressed that I have been scammed ..Felipe Franco my so called accountant . !!!!
I am in the process of reporting this company to Action Fraud, not sure what will happen , but I am assuming I have lost my money that I transferred ...Why Why are people so evil. Any advice would be really appreciated.
SCAM ALERT!! SCAM ALERT!!
This company is a scam, and it it’s currently being run by people who steal money from unsuspecting people. They are destroying lives. My mother invested a very large sum of money and has been asking to withdraw the funds for some time now. Emails, phones calls and each time she is essentially being advised that to withdraw, she has to invest and pay thousands of pounds more. It’s absurd. DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY WILL NEVER ALLOW YOU TO WITHDRAW YOUR OWN MONEY.
Our family has contacted the police, the media, the banks, the FCA. WE ARE AND WILL TAKE ALL ACTION WE CAN TO EXPOSE THIS COMPANY And hopefully my mother can get some of her money back.
KEEP YOUR MONEY SAFE AND AWAY FROM UNIVERSAL ASSETS.
Scam - Ponzi scheme
My original post was on 8 February 2023 but the senior account manager Joanna Scott asked me to take it down and assured me I would receive my funds. I have not received these funds and so as I promised her I am reposting . Since then I see there are a number of others in the same position. I believe that the positive reviews are fake or do not relate to this company and implore trust pilot to take action. They are still in business now trying to recruit new victims. I have evidence of this. I have reported other names including a Raymond from Finance and Alexander Klausman.
This is my experience:
Made a minimum deposit in November 2022. I was encouraged to make more deposits but declined. The account progressed very slowly upwards until January when some bigger profits started to accumulate. I was then advised that at quarter end accounts are cleared down, fees paid, monies paid out then start again. At the start I was told 2% fees. then less than 2 weeks before quarter end that is was 10% and possibly a small leverage fee. when the time came to pay the fees the charge was10% but was then told I had to fund these first then my monies would be released. I paid then they said a junior made a mistake and there should have been leverage fees on top of 7.5% as my account had done well. I paid. They also wanted me to pay for tax which I said I would sort self. They then said the money in crypto form was being released but they transferred it back to the trade platform- they said that was a mistake. They then used it in what was
a trade which made a riduculous super profit..I then began to realise what if these trades are fake? I refused to pay the extra fees due to their mistake. They said they could not release the funds I had paid fees on. At that point highly distressed, I believed it was all a scam and have made reports to Action Fraud which is a police report and the FCA etc .. PLEASE REPORT THEM to help others.. in the meantime no surprise they have locked my account ..

Update on Universal Assets
Update.
Well it's been 40 days since my alleged account was closed. No money refunded as promised by the thickly accented Matthew Harvey. No further contact. I am now satisfied I have been another victim of fraud perpetrated by the thieves calling themselves Universal Assets. I'll leave it to the authorities to investigate.
Universal-Assets Scam
With regards to the previous review on 09 February - I still have not received any funds despite asking Universal Assets several times. I have been told to pay gas fees before Blockchain are able to release my funds yet despite paying just under half of these gas fees I still haven't received a penny.
I was also told that I was receiving £5K compensation because Universal Assets took my fee payment and paid into the trade account (claiming this was a mistake) and asked me to pay the full fee again!! This has not been returned either and my trade account balance is mysteriously now sitting at £0.70 instead of over £39K.
This company are operating a scam - however, I am willing to update this review if they return my money in full.
This company is fake and scam
UPDATE BASED ON THE BELOW REPLY FROM THE COMPANY. YES THIS IS THE RIGHT COMPANY. THEY HAVE TAKEN A LOT OF MONEY AND WILL NOT RETURN IT DESPITE COUNTLESS EMAILS AND CALLS. SIMPLY ASKING FOR MORE MONEY IN ORDER TO MAKE A WITHDRAWAL OF FUNDS.
This company is fake and scam. Will take from you, pretend to give you your money bad only to charge more fees never use them.

Reply from Universal Assets
Has anyone had to pay fees before…
Has anyone had to pay fees before withdrawing funds.

Reply from Universal Assets
very disappointed as my experience has…
DO NOT INVEST with Universal Assets
UPDATE- I have still not received my refund after waiting a further 2 weeks and now firmly believe this is a scam. I am reporting to the police
very disappointed as my experience has been very negative. Invested in Dec to try out then upped my investment in January as requested by act manager. Then badgered by accts manager to invest more, this was aggressive and bullying with assets manager stating he was ‘boss of my acct’ Raised complaint and requested withdrawal which previously took 24 hours when testing but now waited over a week. Just had a call back from another manager which was non productive and call cut off when I said I still want to withdraw my funds. Now not answering calls so very concerned. Have emailed support but very concerned regarding the integrity of company.
UPDATE: Following this review the company (J) have contacted me immediately and offered to resolve and refund my money within 7 days with a generous compensation for my distress. I feel more confident that I had a rogue acct manager and have amended my star rating accordingly. I will update again if this does not get resolved. Thank you J
