Good for newbies to finance
Concise, easy to use, was able to understand complicated theories quicker, video explanations for multiple choice questions and task-based simulations are a boon.

Best Supplemental course for conceptual clarity
The lectures and materials are student friendly and precise, make a CPA student`s life much easy. Though there are very few number of MCQs and Sims would highly recommend for good coverage of topics and concepts that might have missed in your main study review package. Best supplement course for conceptual clarity. I cleared my all four sections with universal CPA review as a supplement course. Great work by Joey and his team!!

No refund despite website/payment portal saying otherwise
The platform content is alright, but the refund policy was removed without proper notice. There is no refund whatsoever even though there is a money-back guarantee on the "Universal CPA Review vs Other CPA Review Courses" page,
backed by the Stripe payment portal saying "Refunds accepted within 7 days of purchase."
Should have updated the website and portal proactively to clarify the refund policy. Other CPA prep providers have clear and robust refund policies which make purchases less risky.

Good content but as soon as they see…
Good content but as soon as they see that you may not be a repeat customer, the customer service is out of the window.
Context: I purchased BEC before the change. In the website that converted to BAR; however, I did not have the access to all of the videos or MCQs. I contacted CS and explained that though I technically didn't need access to all of it (I am studying for CMA), I still needed access to all, as we couldn't cherry pick. I felt like as soon as I said that, the communication ceased. I paid for a section, so I should have access to a section. I am truly disappointed as I really feel like the content is good.
Edit: I sent an email to Corinne and her colleague and received a respond in a timely manner and the issue was handled satisfactorily. As mentioned above, the content is good, but this must have been a case of a situation that "fell through the cracks." Mistakes happen and how this was handled definitely showed their professionalism. Thank you, Corinne and Joey.

Visual learning taken to the next level. The explanation of each question is extremely detailed. They also show you "the tempting incorrect answer choices" in SIMS. This has cemented my knowledge base ten-fold.

Great Connections between Topics!
I had come across Universal after looking into some CPA forums online, and as a visual learner I had decided to pursue with their program. As of this given moment, I am looking forward to their courses, as they flow nicely from concept to concept and the mental maps really help visualize the steps in an orderly fashion, especially showing how all of these ideas come into one big picture. Great addition to my current courses as an undergrad.
It's the visual learning for me that really helps. It is well organized and the explanations that accompany all the test questions are extremely useful. I am in my final semester as an undergrad at the University of Wyoming. I'm currently just using this as a supplement to my current courses but I will be using it more regularly when the time comes to prepair for the CPA exams. Anyways, I will be telling all my fellow students and friends about this program to spread the word.

Universal CPA is a Game Changer
The animated video lectures were super helpful in retaining the information I struggled with in Becker like leases and intercompany transactions. I used Universal to pass AUD and FAR. I can definitely say its the reason I passed.

Worst experience ever in my life
Joseph Reeve, the Founder of the program, refused to offer assistance. If that's how you treat your potential customers, I can only imagine how bad it is for your current customers. Just stick with Becker and Ninja, you don't need this.

After writing this review, Joey reached out to me and claimed that he had missed my email. After I replied to the email, he again chose to ignore me and even claimed that he did reply to my email on here, which again is not true. This has been the most frustrating experience I have had from any review courses.
