“Not as Advertised – Serious Safety and Maintenance Neglect”
I relocated to Denver from out of state and rented a unit that was advertised as having air conditioning. Unfortunately, that amenity did not exist in the unit, and management did not acknowledged it as an the issue.
Shortly after moving in, my apartment was broken into. I lost personal belongings and reported it immediately. I submitted a high-priority maintenance request to fix the broken fence and window screens, which was later cancelled without explanation or repair.
I’ve contacted local housing authorities about unsafe conditions and lack of responsiveness. Based on my experience, I would recommend future tenants exercise caution and ask for written confirmation of all amenities and safety concerns before signing a lease.
