My view on Unstoppable Domains

I recently used Unstoppable Domains to register a decentralized domain name on the blockchain, and I must say that my experience was fantastic. UD website is intuitive and user-friendly, making it easy for me to navigate and register my domain name.

One thing that stood out to me about Unstoppable Domains is its commitment to decentralization. The company's decentralized domain names are resistant to censorship and seizure, which is a critical feature in today's world. I appreciate that the platform puts the power back in the hands of the users, rather than relying on a centralized authority.

Stay far away from this money grabbing scam!!!

After i invested in .coin domains, unstoppable domains STOPPED all functionality, so i ended up with a bunch of worthless junk. I wish i realized they are creating TLD's out of thin air earlier, so i wouldn't have waste my time. They shouldn't advertise as a decentralized solution, as they control every single integration.

Stay far away from this money grabbing scam!!!

Wish I would’ve read all these reviews…

Wish I would’ve read all these reviews before I purchased from unstoppable domains. They sold me a .coin domain for $43 and change. A couple months after the purchase they emailed me and said they weren’t supposed to sell me that domain because it conflicted with another domain provider/seller. They promise to refund yet make it so difficult in the process I would think most people would give up. Well, after hours and hours and hours and months and months of emailing and asking for more and more information Instead of just reversing the charges back to my bank. I did receive the refund, but it was so difficult like I said most people would just give up and I think that’s what they expect. Total scam of a company and if I could leave a zero star I would.

Total scam

Total scam - sold domains to me that they don't own/can't sell, then promised a refund, and I am still waiting for my refund from over two months ago. Don't use them, and don't buy from them. It is a scam.

"unstoppable" ponzi scheme

this is one of those scams newcomers fall for because they lack critical thinking skills and don't put much effort into doing their due diligence before buying into a product because they are caught up in the artificial hype that is generated by paid influencers and shills.

this company has been selling domains (like .coin) to gullible people and later just taken them away! Why? It's because they dont have a right to sell any of these domains to begin with. their business model is literally fraud, you guessed correctly: it's a plain old ponzi scheme wrapped in the garment of "web3"

The Most Accurate Review!

I've got a lot of domains from Unstoppable Domains because I think that they are implementing web3 and blockchain technologies that will be very useful and valuable in the near future. They are leading the blockchain domain industry as far as sales and marketing go and they have extensive Youtube podcasts with special guests that discuss the importance of these domains and where they think this industry is headed. Their website is extremely user friendly and when you buy a domain and click on Manage, you can easily begin creating a website for your domain with one of the built in templates without having any coding experience and or directly post it for sale on the UD website or on OpenSea. It's fun and easy, and the team responds to any helpdesk questions ALMOST IMMEDIATELY to help you understand or fix something so I don't know what people are complaining about. They are going UP and I plan on goin with them!

I bought quite a couple of .COIN…

I bought quite a couple of .COIN domains from Unstoppable over multiple orders. Unstoppable announced the discontinuation and refunding of .COIN domains a couple of months after that (18 Oct '22). I have now been struggling for 43 days to get all of my .COIN domains refunded and I still do not have even half of my money back.

Every single time a query on the matter is answered from their side it is a different person who has no knowledge of the previous conversations I had. Or so they make it seem?

I firstly had to explain multiple times to multiple support agents that I do not want a refund in the form of Unstoppable credit, but I want my credit card to be refunded.

There have been multiple stalls on their side with excuses ranging from "refund may take a little longer due to a processing bug" to "trouble processing Paypal orders back through Paypal". Every time one of these stalls happen they try to get me to agree to be refunded in credit or USDC which I have declined numerous times.

At this stage I do not know if I'll ever see all of my .COIN domains refunded. I have also reconsidered using their affiliate/reseller program which my company has spent numerous hours trying to implement.

Even if I receive all refunds this is still a testament to their terrible customer and after-sales service. I would not recommend doing business with them as they seem to not take these type of things seriously.

UPDATE:

It is now 15 December (almost 2 months after my refund was requested) and I have yet to receive a full refund.

They still cannot refund me via Paypal and have given me the option of a wire transfer refund. I provided them with an official bank stamped account confirmation letter containing ALL details needed to pay me, but they still keep on stalling by asking for things like and IBAN code (not used by banks in South Africa) and a routing number (also not used by banks in SA).

I am increasingly worried that I will never see my refund...

UPDATE:

After explaining that South Africa uses SWIFT codes (which was sent to them almost 3 weeks ago) and not IBAN or a routing number they have come back to now ask for a "national clearing code" which is the SWIFT code (confirmed with my bank and a simple Google search). Again a clear attempts to stall or to not pay what is owed to me.

I have informed them that they have every single piece of information to make the payment to me and that I receive foreign payments via this method monthly.

UPDATE:

I was refunded the last of what I was owed on 21 December 2022 - More than two months after I first requested the refund. The email thread I had with them was 56 emails long!

I no longer trust this company and will probably try to find another NFT domain provider if I decide to continue reselling NFT domains.

FRAUD

Unstoppable Domains sold me a .zil address. Claimed I couldn't use it. Gave me a store credit. Began to sell the .x for 5 times the price they sold the .zil for. And, kept selling .zil addresses. That is Fraud and Attempt to Defraud.

Scammers who do not honour their promotions after stealing all your personal information

Was sucked in by BitDegree's promotion with Unstoppable Domains for a free domain they emailed me.

I had to provide all my personal information to BitDegree and then spent ages doing their uninformative waste of time course on their website.

I had a confirmation screen I would be emailed my free Unstoppable Domain.

They then NEVER sent me my domain as promised.

I waited months and had to followup by email (ignored most of the time) and Discord. I FINALLY after lots of complaints and rude replies got them to honour their offer:

"Hello and congratulations! Here is a gift code for an NFT domain you earned:"

However, when I went to their partner company in CRIME Unstoppable Domains, surprise, surprise the code did not work.

After numerous ignored emails to Unstoppable Domains they said I must send them proof of the email from BitDegree.

I sent a screenshot of the full email, but they wanted more personal information from me:

"If you would like us to look in to this further for you, we will need some additional information from you.

Please forward or attach a copy of the email received from BitDegree. Once we receive this, we can begin an investigation in to your issue."

I asked why a screenshot showing all the information was not acceptable but of course they never replied.

After many followups they finally sent:

"During the BitDegree promotion, we identified fraudulent activity and halted the distribution of gift codes which included disabling gift codes which had been sent out and were not yet redeemed."

This is proof BitDegree and Unstoppable Domains are working together to steal our personal information via fake offers.

BEWARE OF THESE SCAMMERS!

"unstoppable" domains are plain old web2.

Just because something involves a blockchain, it doesn't automagically become "web3", otherwise old school banks could just use their own blockchains and claim to be "web3", but it would be false advertising.
Web3 encompasses a certain set of values and not just "blockchain".

These "unstoppable" domains are neither "decentralized" nor "unstoppable" it's web2 with a misleading web3 sugar coat. I don't think that their misleading advertising is acceptable either, the proper disclosures should be openly presented.

Disappointed with unstoppabledomains

I purchased my domain at unstoppabledomains.com and after purchasing my domains I wasn't able to mint two of them is like if they dissappear out of my account and I'm not able to mint them. It's been more than a month with this issue and all they say their working with the issue. I'm like I purchased domains in order to used them not to have them dissappear from my account. I'm not too happy with them.

I was really stuck in getting my new domain minted and retrieving 2 that I lost through my own errors. The staff was extremely patient with fixing my problem and hand holding me along the way. Its really good to have proper support in an emerging ecosystem like crypto. I highly recommend this company. Great job Karim!!!

Somehow I made a mistake sending US$10 as payment for one Unstoppable Domain with my metamask wallet. I made a complain about not receiving what I bought and the team of UD just gave me the adress as a gift. I will continue using Unstoppable Domains. The team is great.

Actually UD are very good ....affiliate program bad.

Actually UD are very good and their original affiliate program was brilliant.
They suddenly switched to IMPACT.com. I invested and was making $1000+ per month.
Now after 6 weeks with impact I'm down to $50 a month even though my personal stats are up!
It's just not worth it anymore....i will close it.
