While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

How to spot these websites are fake:

How to spot these websites are fake:
They don't have a full address or contact information
You can only communicate by whatsapp and they are pushy (a.i likely) and they are quick to request banking info or usher you on to subsciptions
The linkedin page doesn't have any activity (no posts reposts etc) and don't have legitimate contacts
The wages advertised are high, such as £250 a day for a basic admin role (if its too good to be true, its usually fake)
Look at reviews across a number of sources, such as Trustpilot, Feefo or Sitejabber, which aggregate customer reviews.
Don’t look at just one review website – make sure you check several.
They often advertise roles that are legitimate and link to legitimate companies to appear authentic.

Scam

Scam
Get contacted by a number on WhatsApp claiming to give you a online job.
They use AI to give you a speel and make it all look legit and give you some training. I've been contacted twice both selling the same job but just different companies. I think they base their scheme on real legit companies so if you do Google the company it looks real.

However, they take you through the training and use fake accounts to show that if you deposit your money then you get chance to claim higher commission.
Obviously they then expect you to deposit your own money. Of course I did not do that and they turned nasty.
Please stay away :(

Possible scam

Got a text saying hello (my full name) Upcruite shared your contact and mentioned your interest in our online role. I'd like to briefly explain the job, how it works, and the earning process. Are you available to chat now?

After I didn't reply I got a text saying:
I'm sorry, are you really looking for a job? I need your response to confirm that I haven't contacted the wrong person.

The website looks almost too professional and the second text seems too pushy. So I think it may be a scam.
