BEFORE I BOUGHT IT I confirmed with the Carsie.net live chat (same owners upgrademyaudi.net and mmiupdates.org) that it would work for my car and the current software version I have. I tried installing the update, and it gave me a train block error (which just meant the software was too new and needed older softwares). So the live chat agent said this happens sometimes and sent me two older files to try, which gave me the same train block errors. Now, I have been trying to reach support again but I have been ignored for three weeks after saying they're reaching out to Audi. Seems like they took my money and don't care enough to help me anymore even though the files they sent me are useless. Waste of money.

Useless, Audi doesn't sync nor update with the app, after trying 50 times it worked partially, you can save your money ....

Upgrading firmware and maps for 2015 A8 D4 MMI, 3G+ bricked my head unit. No reply from site on question asked. Site that indicated safe, easy way to upgrade these components, however failed miserably on firmware done by systems engineer in IT with 20 years of experience. Not recommended.

In fact they are just thieves

Updates are sold expensively even though they are available for free everywhere on the internet.

This guy ADAM is very helpful when he wants to sell some unit or service to you, after that you are on your own! He recommended me to buy a Plug and Play Android CarPlay and I did, IT'S NOT PLUG AN PLAY AT ALL. If you own A8 D4 then you have to count on modifications, No chance without modifications! Unit after all does not work as it should be. You have to reset both MMI and Android unit again and again and again to get media to works. Map color does not change automatically. Is either night color or day color. Unit gets crazy when you use multifunction steering wheel bottoms. I asked him for advice and help, he wrote back use 3D map to get day and night color change automatically! It's ridicules, it didn't help! WHY IN EARTH I HAD TO PAY £289 TO GET 3D MAP??? He stopped responding to my emails! I've sent him more than 10 emails but NOTHING, NO REPLY. I can copy paste all emails as a proof if it's needed.
He had changed holding site many times, ASK HIM WHY?
Cheap Chinese product which man can buy it from Aliexpress with support and money back guarantee!

Best support ever! Adam is super responsive (even outside of UK business hours - 5 hour difference from FL to UK). My Audi had an unusual firmware type for Bose not covered in the install tutorials. Adam responded immediately, ID'd my firmware module, and the install proceeded. When I did a dumb thing and didn't properly follow instructions, Adam patiently worked with me to get everything working. This guy knows his stuff! I now have new firmware and maps on my 2015 A5 Cabrio. Take Adam's advice: Watch the videos; read the tutorials, then read them again and follow the steps. I highly recommend Carsie. I recommend that you do not buy from these people. I purchased the full system and map update and downloaded them to a 32Gb SD card which I purchased specially for the purpose. The system update did work OK, but the maps (Europe) were too big to fit on it, so I followed the advice provided with the software and purchased a higher-quality (more expensive) 32Gb SD card. They still wouldn't fit, so I contacted the supplier who said I would have to use a 64Gb SD card reformatted to FAT32. I purchased one (having now spent almost as much on SD cards as on the updates), formatted to FAT32 and tried to update the maps - but the downloaded data cannot be recognised. As an IT engineer, I know what I'm doing. I did try using the "free" formatting app they recommended, but the "free trial" doesn't allow formatting that size; so I tried 3 other apps, just in case the format was not correct. It never worked; they never responded any further to my support requests; and my money has not been refunded.

Bought the bundle, the first part of which worked fine, but the map files are corrupt and will not work.
I am an IT technician so I know the SD cards I am using are fine, formatted correctly at FAT32 etc, but every time the update fails at the same point regardless of how may attempts on differing browsers and Windows based OSs I use.

SUPPORT IS NON EXISTANT - DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

I bought a bundle firmware & map update for Australia from Adam. This guys are so unprofessional & didn’t even care to respond my queries after repeated follow up mails.
My bad to have not checked their reviews before buying the product.
No doubt they are scammers/ thieves.

If you live in Australia (like me) please be aware that the nav map update does not work for this country. I sent many emails and received ZERO replies . Adam is laughing at all of us who have had bad experiences he will never contact you he will NOT refund your money. 100 percent scammer and thief do NOT buy from UpgradeMyAudi.net

Guys. Please beware that Adam, the owner of upgrademyaudi.net is a thief and a scammer. I made a mistake being so naive and placed an order for a wireless Android auto module for my Audi A7 through his webstore and paid $502.75 of my hard-earned money on the 4th of April and did not hear a thing back from them ever since. I've sent many follow-up emails to their support page on their website, on their Facebook page (they keep deleting my messages, by the way), and on their messenger chat link as well as on Instagram, and they never replied.... Please, please don't repeat my mistake. Never order from them. I'm ready to show proofs of what I've mentioned above to whoever wants to check.

Customer support was slow and bad. Installed an Apple CarPlay module and hand quite a bad time with having to take the unit out and put it in multiple times and go on customer support multiple times.

I still have a unit that has no display and doesn’t work as described. Asked to return and receive a refund twice and haven’t had a response as of yet.

Disappointed!!

Buyers beware! Buy navigational software from Upgrademyaudi.net at your own risk. I purchased North America navigational software for my Audi Q7 in August, 2020. Adam, owner, initially provided support via email until I got to the point where I had challenges with map software activation and he never responded to my multiple requests for assistance. As a result, my software upgrade failed and does not work. Had I read reviews on this merchant (prior to purchase), I would not have purchased from him. $138 will not break me. However, it appears as though Adam, owner, took my money and ran.

Ordered paid £85 for lifetime product and installed it without issue. Needed to reinstall but found they had changed holding site but before I had a chance to do the work the holding site was changed again. Support non-existent when I ran into trouble and so I went to Alex@VAG car coding. He only charged me £65 for a factory reset (less than originally quoted) then £85 for the maps (which I thought was in the original quote). Buyer beware.

I wanted to write and tell you that I enjoyed the experience of purchasing and installing the map upgrade and license for my 2012 Audi A6. It was a great project and I enjoyed your videos. They make everything much easier to do, but you still need computer proficiency. I have that and enjoyed the challenge. The Best part was saving over US $350 and a trip to my Audi dealership. Surprisingly, they weren’t even able to tell me what was on the latest Audi OEM upgrade, just that “it is the latest version.” I love my local dealer, but they don't excel at every aspect of vehicle service. I'm glad I found UpgradeMyAudi!

Be very careful with this company and with the owner Adam Ignaczak, they are SCAMMERS. On August 19 I bought a CarPlay (£ 300) module for an Audi Q5, on September 3 the shipment had not been made, to which Adam told me that he was having problems with the shipment, he asked me to give him a couple of days to see if he could solve the problem, by September 17 I did not have any response from him, so I asked him to cancel the purchase, on September 18 he sent me an email confirming the cancellation but no refund was made to my credit card, so on September 23 I asked him when it was going to be done to which he replied that in 14 days the refund should be made. After this he never answered my emails again and to date no refund has been made to my card. So be very careful to fall for Adam's tricks, it cost me to lose £ 300, a SCAMMER!.

I've ordered for 115€ of products on their website 3 months ago.
The speed camera POI file was empty, containing 0 POI !!!
The map update simply didn't work, wasn't recognized by my car.
I've sent 3 requests to get help, didn't get any reply in 3 months!!! I contacted them countless times on Facebook as well, no response on their side.

I strongly advise to NOT order from this website !
