Voiding Gift Cards
Thank you for the chance to share my feedback! I want to first and foremost, recognize James for their prompt and friendly assistance! 5 of out 5 stars here.
However, we are continually frustrated by the inability to void out gift cards here on-location on the back end of Upserve. Our previous POS system had this function which saved so much time and energy. It is not uncommon that gift cards are lost either in the mail or with the patron, and voiding/reissuing is an important part of our company's mission to provide the best customer service that we can.
We would love to see this function in a recent software update.

I have not been able to close out our grub hub orders for 2 months which is a hassle, but when I reach out via chat they close them out pretty quick. Hopefully they resolve this issue soon

Help with house accounts
I needed help with a house account, both confirmation of set up and how to reconcile once payment was collected in the future. On the chat line, the support person was very helpful in explaining the procedure and even offered to help me make the item button to get it accomplished. They also were very prompt in getting back to me with fast text/chat answers. Very helpful

The customer service is lacking a…
The customer service is lacking a little bit. The system doesn’t let you close out tickets that have been reopened to comp/void an item off the menu. We get random r/antiwork printouts on both our kitchen and receipt printers.
It’s not all bad, the system is very helpful with day to day operations and will break down everything to the smallest detail. I have faith in it, just us a few things that need to be worked out.

I called with an issue with resetting my password, and was able to have it resolved within minutes.

Huge fan of the help feature
The help feature on the Upserve app has saved me multiple times. It's always where I go first to troubleshoot. Our last issue was a printer error and the staff was knowledgeable and efficient. Overall, Upserve is by far my favorite POS system. Very intuitive.

We just became an Upserve customer. On our very first night of using our new system, we encountered a question. We used the chat feature in the portal and I had my answer within 10 minutes. Thus far, very impressed with Upserve!

I’ve been using Upserve for over 6 years and literally have nothing bad to say about the company. The software is easy to use and is easily integrated with a number of 3 party clients. The 24/7 customer service is great!! We’ve just opened a new restaurant and the ease in which everything was setup and installed was phenomenal. Great company!
We were switching our banking…
We were switching our banking information for this location and I reached out to one of the representatives via the chat option on Upserve.com. Someone was able to promptly assist me and sent me the banking information update request. I was able to fill out the form and almost within the 24 hours the deposits were going to the new bank account.
