They contact you on Facebook on you articles, that you sell. Then they ask for a Urbandata report. I told them that I have the service book, and the car vertical report as well as all the bills from the car manufacturer. They still want you to get the report. You need to pay the report, then they have your money and block you. Don´t go to that site. SCAM

FACEBOOK SCAM - URBANAUTOTRADER
FACEBOOK SCAM - literally just happened to me, all the ‘5 star reviews’ below must be from the scammers themselves trying to validate this new strategy using this website.
DO NOT FALL FOR IT, REPORT ON FACEBOOK IF IT HAPPENS TO YOU!
This site is a scam
This site is a scam, any feedback that is 5 stars are bot accounts or the scammers themselves. Avoid this site at all cost.
The way this one works is the "seller" will contact you becasue you are selling your car and give some story about being ripped off before and they want you to provide them with proof that the car is not on finance and that is it the sellers responsibility (It's not its the buyers responsibility to check this out). The plead with you to get a report against the car which is in dollars and not GBP.
To make money they essentially have to get a high throughput of scams and because the costs are so small (typically £8-£9) then expect you will not claims against them to get your money back.
This is a scam

I thought it was a Facebook scam
Ok it seems I jumped the gun here, but a dreadful service , there is no email from the company , they take your money then you fret the whole day it’s a scam then you get the report. Can I suggest you send the email first saying we will bill you now and your report will follow. Just be clear what you are going to do. There is no help service on the website either

Similar incident to some of the people in the negative reviews below. Approached by a fella who seemed genuine saying he had been screwed in the past etc. I suggested he should be doing these checks himself and not asking the seller since I could in theory alter the details. I offered to give him all the details he needed to allow him to do it himself which he refused. Luckily I checked on here and saw others with a similar story, saved myself some money.
