From our decision to obtain our kitchen from Urban Kitchens to the final fitting, Steve has been nothing but a gem. His help and advice throughout was invaluable, particularly with our indecision regarding door colour. Pricewise, I think that they would be difficult to beat for quality and choice and I would really recommend them.

We decided to approach Urban Kitchens for a brand new kitchen after having them recommended by a couple of different people.

We had already been into Lancasters B&Q & Wickes for a price up where we found B&Q a bit of an unorganised mess and Wickes (who was the ex b&q kitchen designer) a little better but their quote was frankly ridiculous and after reading online about the poor quality of Wickes cabinets we decided to give them a miss and approach Urban Kitchens after a friend of mine and colleague of my wifes had highly recommended them.

As soon as we approached Urban Kitchens we felt the kitchens in the windows instantly looked more premium than that of Wickes or B&Q and that was confirmed when we went in for a more close up look and feel. We also visited our friends kitchen (1 year after fitting) who's was from urban to get a feel for the quality and how it had aged and was more than happy with the quality from that as well as what we saw instore.

Steve who runs Urban Kitchens was absolutley brilliant, he is professional and is very likable and very quickly put as at ease, he visited our house, measured up properly and listened to our ideas (unlike wickes) and we pretty much instantly had a good feeling and knew we were going to go with him, the quote was almost half that of Wickes overall with less general limitations by that given by Wickes with such as being told the wall cabinets wouldnt line up due to the limited width of certain cabinets which frankly looked odd in the 3D model.

Our Kitchen is now fitted and finished and we absolutley love it, it has a generally high quality feel about it and is such a transformation from our previous dated kitchen and we find ourselves spending much more time in there now and are over the moon about it.

Overall for price, a more personal experience and a general better quality built kitchen I would highly recommend Urban Kitchens and would definitley use them again.

After rejecting the extortionate quotations from the so called "kitchen specialists" with palatial showrooms, we turned to Urban Kitchens who gave us the design and quality we were looking for at a sensible price. A test of any company is how they deal with a problem. We had an unexpected hiccup during the installation but Urban Kitchens dealt with it professionally and efficiently with no fuss or hassle. We can not thank enough Toni and Albert for their design and management from the office, and the fitter Marc and his team who's attention to detail and ability and willingness to think outside the box was exceptional.

Well run company. Toni in the showroom was very helpful/knowledgeable. She designed our kitchen and got cupboards and a dishwasher in there that we thought wasn't possible. Very reasonably priced, top named appliances and well built units. Timescale from ordering to completion was very good. The fitters that they use are very punctual and genuine. We were recommended Urban Kitchens by 2 family members who were also very pleased with them. If you want a well buit, well fitted kitchen at a reasonable price then go to Urban Kitchens.

We got in touch with Urban Kitchens after seeing one of their fitters installing a new kitchen. We decided to visit the showroom in Preston and met Toni to go through the many choices available. It's quite bewildering when you think about which size units, finish, worktops, sink, etc that you need to choose, but Toni gave some sound practical advice and we soon arrived at our ideal kitchen design. We opted for a new oven, hob, extractor and dish washer which Urban Kitchens can also supply.

Mark and Rich arrived to fitted our kitchen and made a very good job despite several challenges along the way! They have a great work ethic of completing the job to the best of their ability.

Not knowing the trade terms dry/wet fit, I would prefer a bit more clarification of the wet/dry fitting (perhaps a leaflet?) as it's slightly confusing what you will get if you choose the dry fit.

Overall, we're very pleased with our new kitchen and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Urban Kitchens. They supply great quality kitchens at a fraction of the price of Howdens or Wren.

We would not hesitate to recommend Urban Kitchens. Out of all of the kitchen showrooms we visited in the area, there was never any doubt that we would buy our kitchen anywhere else. A professional service from start to finish, prices within our budget and no hidden extras. Steve was always welcoming without the pushy sales approach you so often see and hate! Both he and Mark, the fitter, visited us at home to finalise the details before the work started. We were extremely impressed with how Mark and his team worked and everything was finished so quickly and expertly with minimal disruption to our lives. There is so much to think about and so many decisions to make when you plan a new kitchen but Steve and Mark always made us completely reassured by their expertise and professionalism. We are so pleased with our great new kitchen and the service from Urban Kitchens.

Great experience with Urban kitchens from Lancaster. Steve was great to deal with. The fitter Mark did a great job sorting out plastering etc that needed doing before the kitchen went in. The design was really good and the finished kitchen looks amazing. We’ve had it put into a holiday let in windermere and I would recommend this company for any jobs in that area. Good product at a very competative price. No pushy sales chat. Once installed we had a minor problem with the extractor hood being slightly dented. This was replaced without any delay by Steve. Great service great kitchen 👍👍👍👍😄😄😄😄

I run a small Property Maintenance Company in Lancaster and i have now dealt with Steve Mayor on 3 occasions in the Lancaster Branch. You cant fault his customer service skills and his all round ability to design, order and deliver goods. Keep up the good work and i will see you when i need another stress free kitchen fitted.

What can i say a complete shambles from start to finish.
Issue after issue
Very unprofessional with a dire attitude towards its customers (they dont care)
Cant go in to all the issues as it would be the longest review ever
Basically they are not a company I would recommend
We had another company lined up to do our kitchen but last minute chose Urban kitchens what a mistake that was
I have to give them one star as no stars were not available.
Needles to say we still have ongoing issues with them and don't trust what they say unless you get it in writing especially regarding warranties or guarantees.

Would definitely recommend this company. Steve the designer was extremely helpful in helping us to choose the right kitchen for us at a very reasonable price without being pushy. Mark, Jack and Micky the kitchen fitters turned up on time and worked hard. They did a lovely job and we love our new kitchen.

We got our new kitchen through Steve Mayor who couldn’t have been more helpful. There was no hard sell, and friendly and efficient support and advice all the way through. My Dad-in-law fitted the kitchen and we bought the cupboards/panels etc only, and sourced our own appliances & worktops (only because we had very specific choices). Even though we didn’t use Urban Kitchens own fitters etc it made absolutely no difference to the level of care and service we received. The attention to detail was excellent and Steve was happy to liaise with my Dad-in-law over designs to overcome problems hiding gas & electric meters & a boiler behind tall bespoke cupboards. We love our new kitchen which is now a vision of sleek glossy oyster slabiness (slab doors ...) We can also recommend putting the handles on ‘ze german vay’ - with all the handles horizontal & in the middle of the cupboard/drawer edges. (We have strap handles) It’s a personal thing but it does look lovely & modern.
We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Steve or Urban Kitchens, nothing was too much trouble and a pleasure to deal with.
