I booked a flight to Canada and added all available add-ons to ensure a smooth journey. However, my flight was canceled due to the war, and I was forced to reschedule without being allowed to change my final connecting flight. When I arrived at the airport, officials denied me boarding, saying they couldn’t find my ticket for the final destination. Trip.com later told me they couldn’t assist me and refunded less than 20% of the amount I had paid.

Trip.com is a reliable and convenient travel booking platform that makes planning trips much easier. The app is user-friendly, with clear options for flights, hotels, and other travel services all in one place. Prices are often competitive, and there are frequent deals and discounts available. Booking is fast and hassle-free, and confirmations are received. Customer support is also responsive when assistance is needed. Overall, it’s a great app for travelers looking for a smooth and efficient booking experience.

Oh my god do not use this app! They are so unhelpful especially during dangerous busy time!
I wasted almost 400$ for a ticket that i wont be able to use! And all they can offer me is absolutely nothing.
I maybe a little person - one you disrespect - but it is okay. I will never use the services of this platform again ever.
Your response is from an AI for a person in dire need.
How pitiful for us clients with no clout!

Booking my flights through Trip.com was a smooth and hassle-free experience from start to finish. The platform was easy to navigate, making it simple to compare options and choose the best flights that fit my schedule and budget.
What stood out the most was how seamless the entire transaction process was—everything from selecting flights to payment and confirmation was quick and efficient. I also appreciated the timely updates and clear details provided for my bookings, which gave me peace of mind throughout the process.
Overall, I had a very positive experience and would definitely use Trip.com again for future travel. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a convenient and reliable way to book flights!

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience, which was both stressful and poorly handled.
My original flight from Da Nang Vietnam to Singapore was scheduled for 17 April 2026 but was moved to 16 April. I was given the option to cancel or reschedule, and I chose to accept the 16 April flight. Communication initially seemed clear.
However, when I arrived at the airport, I was told at check-in that my name was not on the passenger list—not only for the 16th, but also for the original 17th flight. This caused significant panic, as I had a connecting flight to Australia.
To make matters worse, I later received an email at 6pm stating that my “new” flight (SQ193 to Singapore Departing at 6:39pm) had been cancelled, which made no sense given the situation. In order to avoid missing my onward travel, I had no choice but to purchase a ticket for the same flight using my own money.
Upon arrival in Singapore, I spent over 30 minutes on the phone with customer service. I was then told that for a refund, I would need to cancel my entire booking—something that was not a realistic option, as it would have disrupted my travel to Australia entirely.
Additionally, due to this situation, I was forced into an 18-hour layover in Singapore and had to cover accommodation costs myself. Responsibility was passed back and forth between the booking platform and the airline, with no clear resolution or accountability.
Overall, this experience showed a serious lack of support and consideration for customers. Once payment is made, it feels like the responsibility shifts entirely onto the customer, even in situations caused by system or booking errors.

Trip.com is outstanding at taking your money and absolutely useless to the point of deliberately unhelpful when anything goes wrong.
My AirAsia flight FD183 (Kathmandu to Bangkok, 1 May 2026) was cancelled within 30 days of departure. I contacted Trip.com immediately because the booking was issued through them and I needed rebooking assistance. What I got instead was scripted, evasive non-answers and a manager response that was basically “we can only change with the same airline”, as if repeating that sentence solves anything.
They would not provide basic, verifiable information such as when they contacted the airline, what AirAsia replied, or any reference number for the alleged contact. Just generic template replies designed to close the ticket and make customers lose their rights by accepting cancellations, not resolve the problem.
This is not the first time. On a previous Trip.com booking from Bangkok to Ta Khmau (Cambodia), I was left with zero meaningful assistance during a 7-hour disruption even though I was entitled to compensation and vouchers according to Thai aviation law. No proactive support, no practical options, no real help. Just being bounced around with useless generic non-replies. If you get through to an alleged manager they sound even more robotic and useless.
Trip.com sells “support”, but when you actually need it, you are pushed into customer service loops, vague disclaimers, and stonewalling. If you have time-sensitive constraints like visa expiry or onward flights, do not assume Trip.com will do anything beyond telling you to accept a refund and absorb the extra cost yourself.
I have spent thousands of dollars and I'm a Diamond member, which means nothing. I will not be booking flights through Trip.com again.
