Didn't know hotels could be this bad

Didn't know hotels could be this bad. Beds uncomfortable, carpet was 50 shades of.... brown with ingrained dirt. The room was the size of a closet with very little storage. The Internet was absolutely appalling and the staff were no help in sorting it... Do not stay at the Ibis Edinburgh Central....not worth the money.

Avoid - everything was terrible

We have clear winner for the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Seriously, not exaggerating, the Ibis hotel in Bourgoin is truly awful. They allocated us the wrong rooms (not the rooms I paid for). There’s a Trainline running right by our window. One towel for two people. One paper thin pillow per person. It’s so bad that it could almost be considered funny, if I hadn’t just driven 15 hours, but instead, it’s left all 5 of us lost for words. Cannot wait to get to our ‘genuine’ destination hotel tomorrow. Never booking an Ibis ever again - AVOID

Ibis Thurrock

Booked for 1 night due to an event the next day. Walked out of first room instantly due to a sewage smell. Moved to another room that didn't smell but was not pleasant. Never stayed in budget before but certainly got what we paid for. It was generally unclean in communal areas. Breakfast was overpriced with very little choice of food so we ordered from elsewhere. There were random people drinking cans of lager outside first thing in the morning. We couldn't wait to get out of there.

On a positive note, staff were helpful and friendly.

Overall quite good

Great place, it had great views from my room and good staff, the only bad thing was we had to scan the keycard to use the elevator

Ibis Luton Parkway Airport

Ibis Luton Parkway Airport
I wish there was a chance to have 0 star. After spending an amazing weekend with my family and friends celebrating my birthday, in Bedford, we decided to book a room at Ibis Hotel,Luton Parkway Airport as my friend travelled from Dublin and her flight was
at around 0530hrs and we didn't want the hustle of waking up bizarre time to be at the airport on time.

We checked in around 1715hrs and there was only one staff member and she was amazing 👏🏾. The nightmare started when we got to the room and were greeted by a frozen bedroom. We switched on the heating, but surprisingly, it wasn’t working despite going on YouTube to see how to operate it. Out of desperation, we followed the protocol of reporting, and no one bothered to even respond to the WhatsApp query.

Around 1930hrs we went to the reception to talk to à human being and we registered our concerns by requesting spare blankets or duvets but we were told that the hotel was fully booked and had no spare blankets/duvets. Someone promised to come and check the heating and/or spare blankets/duvets, and we waited until we checked out. No one bothered about our welfare. We didn't sleep at all despite putting on all the clothing we had.

When I finally checked out this morning, noone bothered to ask us how our horrible night was. Is this how far we have gone to make profits at the expense of the so-called clients/customers? As I write this review, I beginning to feel a cold🥶 which means taking time off to recover at home🙆🏾‍♀️💔😭

Great location let down by lack of guest respect and so no sleep! …

Shame as this was in a great location for the arena but the hotel charged a ridiculous price for a room that we got no sleep in- due to the show that was happening. I’ve paid less in much higher end hotels in Kent and Surrey. The doors bang all night long, the toilet door has only a pull handle and with a heavy door the noise to shut it is immense, this is what could be hear along with the main doors shutting- why people couldn’t leave ajar during the night or better still the hotel put a normal pull down handle on so the door can be closed more quietly. Some people staying had no respect and felt it fine to come in during the early hours in very loud voices and then spend the duration of what was left of the time continuing this with very thin walls until leaving with a banging door at 5.30am. They were so loud that it woke a lady we spoke to on the floor above! Breakfast was included- well at £147 it was added I am sure- perfectly ok but it was not worth the £8.50 charge for anyone on the day- choice of two cereals, some bread to be toasted and a few bits of ham and cheese and some tiny pastries- which were tasty but for that price I wouldn’t have paid it and would have gone and got something elsewhere! The rooms were clean as was the foyer and the staff were super friendly and helpful so it is a real shame as this could be so much more if guests had some respect and they did something about the toilet door closures.

Ibis Styles Hotel Paignton

Stayed a few days. Great view from my room and good location. Comfortable bed and good decor. I was not given any information about the hotel when I arrived e.g breakfast times, Wi-Fi, etc., even though I was the only person checking in! My room was not serviced the next day when I came back around 4pm. I asked at reception and was told they were busy doing departures. Not sure why this would be my problem but went out and came back in the late evening to find room was still not service Ie. no clean towel, small bin full, etc. I asked again at reception and waited. Breakfast had a limited choice but was hot.

No ventilation at Ibis Hull

Stayed at Ibis Hull

My stay spoilt because no cool ventilation in room.

Fan unit would only pump out hot air even in the middle of July !

Had to have window open only the maximum 3 inches, 24 hours. Still could not sleep

Otherwise ok

Dreadful Service.

Booked to stay at Ibis Budget Luton Airport for 1 night. One week prior I looked on the website only to see the hotel was temporarily closed. I tried to call them without success. I then emailed the Head Office to cancel my booking but received no reply. I went on to book another hotel as we needed to secure one night before our flight. A few days later I was shocked to see Hotel Ibis had taken £90 out of my bank. When I rang to complain they said they had no record of me cancelling and indeed the Ibis Budget was shut but that my booking was now with the other Ibis Hotel. At no point was I told this. I sent them a copy of my cancellation email but they refused to refund me and were frankly quite abrupt. I had to open up a dispute with my bank which involved lots of forms to be completed and copies of my emails. Luckily my bank refunded me but I will never use an Ibis Hotel again.

The Ibis hotel liverpool Albert docks…

The Ibis hotel liverpool Albert docks,Well what can we say except how disappointing our stay was our room number 420 could not see out of our window due to the poor condensation between the window and our door pass key needed to be re- activated 3 times to get it to work had to wait before we could speak to some one did'nt look to helpful, the room itself once toilet was flushed had a problem stopping it bathroom door seen better days had trouble closing it no ventilation in the bathroom, well if there was it was not working the staff were certainly not on the ball,Now our Daughter and fiance's room number 422 asked for a double room not two single beds pushed together then there's the bathroom the door again poor fit hanging of the hinges repair guy turns up hits the door with a hammer a couple of times said he would be back and never did so they gave my Daughter another room with no view wont be goin here again ever.
