They lied to my father saying it was legally required, telling him he would be fined. Should be illegal, matter of fact I was very close to reporting this company to the authorities. Stay away!

A business that advertises using “Final…

A business that advertises using “Final Notice” letters on unsolicited contact letters to sell their product is shady at best and a scam at worst. Should I become interested in redundantly paying for home insurance again I would eliminate this company solely for the very much unappreciated scare-based sales tactics.

It is a scam company

It is a scam company. They do not protect anything in your house. Trust me, do not choose that company. My washer was broken, and they never replaced it. I canceled the policy, and they never sent me my money back. They stated that, according to the policy, I should cancel the policy within 30 days to receive a full refund of my money. Therefore, I recommend setting aside money to repair your home furniture in case of an emergency, rather than relying on home guard insurance.

JUST SAY NO

I rate it as 1 because you can't rate a zero. If they have to lie to you to try and obtain your business, why would anyone do business with them. As with drugs, JUST SAY NO!

Takes advantage of new home owners by misrepresenting themselves as a part of your home insurance/warranty package.

I received a statement stating i needed to pay for my home warranty as soon as possible and I had just bought a new house so I presume this to be correct. Unfortunately this was a outside group that was posing as the company that I had purchased a warranty with at the time of my closing on my current home, this is a total misrepresentation of what actually I needed to have or what my loan company had purchased for me at the time of my closing.
Mistakenly I sent in the payment only to find out I had signed up for a 22 month contract that was going to cost me nearly $5000 for a warranty which I had already purchased through my loan agreement. Do not in anyway give these people your money, as they are misrepresenting who they are.

NOT SURE I EVER HAD A WARRANTY WITH THIS BUSINESS

Glad I read the reviews on this page today. I picked up a letter in my po box today from US Home Guard. Assuming it's the same company most people have complained about on this web page. I don't have an address for this company on the letter I received today. But there is a phone number on the letter and a customer ID.

This company does have my mortgage company listed on the letter. Which is probably public knowledge in the register of deeds office. However, I don't remember which home warranty company I may have signed up with. It could have been this company. If that be the case. I think my home warranty would have expired before 12/31/24. It's been over 5 years since I closed on my home. From what I've read. Most home warranties expire within 1 to 3 years! After reading the reviews here. I think I'll ignore the letter I received today. If I did use US Home Guard on my last home purchase. This is the first time I remember hearing from since the year I closed on my home. Think I'll spend my money elsewhere on something else.

If you get mail from these people just…

If you get mail from these people just ignore it. No matter what it says. It's a scam. I just went through a bunch of crap because these people pretty much just lie and make you think you need their service. Don't give them any of your bank info or card numbers. Just don't do it and if you have you need to call your bank immediately and have them mark them as fraud.

Extremely deceptive marketing

Extremely deceptive marketing creating a false sense of urgency, making it look like a final notice from ones mortgage company. Should be illegal.

Very deceptive!!

Very deceptive!!! We got a 'Final Notice' letter in the mail. I've never had any dealings with this company. If they are this deceptive at the get then they will be even worse once signed up.

Absolutely terrible

Absolutely terrible
This company deliberately provides misleading information to pray on new home owners. The wording makes it sound like responses are needed urgently and that action must be taken. There operators understand this and do nothing to correct the information in the letter and continue the narrative. I Only hope that this review reaches at least one other unsuspecting new home owner that can see through this sick facade. You absolutely do not need to call them if they send you anything in the mail. If you have a thorough understanding of how home warranties work, go and give them a call. But if you are a nervous first home buyer, do NOT get your information from anyone in this company, particularly if the home you purchased is new/

very rood an unprofessional,

very rood an unprofessional. I was paying 177.27 a month. I filed two claims, they were not able to provide any services, because they do not contract with anyone in the area and the contractors I reached out did not wanted to work with this company. After attesting to called find a solution I finally cancel my policy only to find out they charged me the next month. I called again and they said they this time was for sure cancel and they would proved a full refund. two months later they only sent about 25% of what was I have paid. they were rude the whole time they whole time, anytime you question an answer or requested further assistance they would get mad. When I called to asked about the discrepancy they insisted I had only called once before, and that I must be calling wrong numbers and hung up on me.

This company is horrible

This company is horrible. They charge there reasons why a service can’t be done. Needed sump pump, they said “ with the mold and mildew it’s a homeowner insurance claim “. I paid my deductible and sump pump was never replaced. Never except this company at your closing. They are the worst.
