First month free and no deposit is what was advertised. After spending my time to find a location and unit that fit my needs it said that $210 was required at move in and insurance is mandatory. When time is of the essence and you have an emergency that last thing youv any is to have to deal with bait and switch tactics.

Perfect experience. The manager was EXTREMELY helpful and I highly recommend this facility.

I couldn’t have been more pleased with every phase of the process. AJ was delightful and very accommodating. The spaces are very clean and your prices are very reasonable. The only thing I can recommend is that access by way of stairs to the front of the buildings, rather than having to walk so far to get to the ramps, would be helpful.

The ability to compare locations and companies all in one place made searching for a storage unit quick and easy.

Overall the experience renting the unit was fine. Although there was no mention of a "Rental fee" which was added. And the unit was advertised online as being indoor climate controlled, which it is not.

I'm editing my review because this site is getting worse by the minute. Immediately after posting my review. Which highlighted the fact that this site provided false information I received an email asking me if I had purchased my rental site and that if I answered the question I would be in the running for a 100 dollar gift card. I had already placed a review so I said why not...as soon as I clicked yes, I purchased the rental space, I was sent to a thank you page that said "Thank you for booking your space and answering our question, you are in the running for a 50.00 Dollar gift card" So more lies. US Self Storage your ability to do what you say and follow through is severely lacking.

Extremely easy reservation and customer service!

We ordered a 10 x 15 foot room with doors on both ends. One side opened and we used our lock on it. The other side had an old lock that couldn't be opened due to someone else's lock. We asked that the old lock be cut off so we can open the second door and use our own lock. We requested that the lock be cut off so the second door can be opened tomorrow, Monday. We will call tomorrow to see if it has happened. The General Manager is the only one that is allowed to cut the lock open.

When I finally found a location they had no weekend hours. I am sorry but I work M-F.
I reserved a unit but I have to cancel because I found someone that was available on Sunday to take care of a customer.

When you arrive at the site, after reserving a space online, your going be bombarded with extra fees! They make you purchase a special lock, which you have no use for after the lease. They will try to charge for insurance, $11 monthly if you claim your property is under $1000, however you can refuse or use your own. There's an administration fee of $24 for which was also our monthly rental rate so I'm not sure if that's a coincidence or not. It is very secure, clean and friendly staff. The rate was better than 80% of other storage facilities even after factoring the additional fees. I'm just not a fan of their sneaky sales tactics one you arrive and that's a no-no for this retired business owner. Trust is worth 2 points in my seldom reviews.
Note: When we were told about the additional fees, we started walking out the door and then we were told we could refuse the costly insurance or use our own. The lock should be an option not a requirement. Bring your own or use theirs, which it is a very good lock though.

Would prefer to make reservation with the lengthy time within 30 days not just 1 week in length.
