Instructions on funding and maturing of bonds

I value the convenience of using the online facility to give instructions on maturity of a bond. Where funding instructions are submitted via email, the instructions are invariably handled efficiently.

Clunky process for making a deposit

I opened a second savings account for a sports body and, as treasurer, tried to transfer a substantial sum from a Lloyds current account to the new UTB account. This was held up because Lloyds was not the "nominated" account. The process for changing the nominated account took three days and required telephone conversations with UTB staff each day to progress it. The staff were all helpful and polite. The process seemed rather clunky.
