This Scam started on Kickstarter to then move onto Indiegogo.

After several delays of delivery (from October to late February/March), the product received wasn't even remotely what promised. The key features don't exist at all i.e.:
1- there is no breathability through any kind of filters, from the pm 2.5 to the n99 *which the company sells*, I can't breathe even without filters, without shells with my hand pushing the mask on. There is no way this is usable at all.
2- The company suggested to take out the exhaling filter, compromising one of the biggest selling point of the mask "double way protection"
3- The positive air pressure is nothing but a promise, the fan makes no difference whatsoever and there is no positive pressure.
4- While backing there was (as part of the pledge) a 30 days money back if no 100% satisfied policy, UM System (the company that produces this scam) changed after the fact their idea about it, saying that they didn't have the possibility to offer a refund and that kickstarter is not a store. Too bad that people are not so stupid and they have internet now. This is fraud, obviously you can't change the policies after the purchase. Therefore after many people reported this to their financial institutions and Colorado Attorney General, this started to blow up and UM System started to offer a fake reimbourse.
5- The reimbourse is considered fake because you have to fill a form, too bad that upon in depth review of this form, it turns out that makes you accept to wave your previous rights if you accept to use it, and makes them able to refuse to give you your money back and give you store credit instead (which is useless because you won't buy anything again from this store).
6- After all the reports and the criminal activity on their part, UM System Lawyers have been in contact with the Colorado Attorney General and started to give out refunds without using that form (even though they still try to enforce it in order to do damage control and loose less money... if they find the chicken.... ).

There would be SOOOOO much more to say, this Odyssey is so long that you could write a book, here are just the main facts of the past 9 months. STAY AWAY FROM THIS.
