It started out okay, they seemed really friendly and asked what measurements we needed. I'm in a wedding party and so all the girls gave a list of their individual needs. It took well over a month for the dresses to ship and each one was delivered at a different time. IT LOOKED NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURES ONLINE. Not to mention that each dress did NOT fit the girls despite having given their exact measurements. UWDress refused to refund us our money when we expressed dissatisfaction claiming they have a 3 day policy? Seriously?! 3 Days?! It took well over a month for the dresses to get here, how did you want us to return the dresses in just 3 days?
We continued to try to reason with them. They're offering only a $20 refund for each dress, even though the dress was originally over $100, not to mention the shipping prices. So only $20 for each dress but they won't pay for shipping, so there goes the $20 they offered to give back.
Needless to say, the bride is very upset about this whole deal.
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!!!

Ordered 3 bridesmaids dresses. They're beyond expectation. Great fabric, wonderful design, well made and an excellent company. On time delivery too. Many thanks UW!

I posted a review in their website and of course because it's a 1 star my review was not published. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY and save yourself the time and aggravation. I ordered a dress mind you following their measurements and when the dress arrived it was too small. I contacted them the very same day to let them know and I was told I can return the dress at my expense which I completely understand and I was told I would be issued a refund. For the past 3 days I have been asking for the return address and for the past 3 days I have been receiving a response and given the run around with NO return address provided.

Frankly speaking, I am reluctant to order my bridesmaid dress from uwdress.com. My hesitation is mainly due to the following two reasons.

1. It is an abroad company and I never buy a dress from the company before. I do not know whether it is trustworthy.
2. Once there is something unsuitable about my dress, it is not convenient to exchange or return.

As a result, I try to pick up my bridesmaid dresses at boutiques. Both the quality and the styles of those dresses can satisfy me very well. However, the prices are so high, far beyond my budget. I do not want to spend too much money on a dress which cannot wear in many occasions. I just hope my bridesmaid dress have affordable price, acceptable quality and good style.

At my first sight on the website, I am deeply attracted by the dresses’ trendy style and competitive price. Thus, after I failed to buy my bridesmaid dress at physical store, I come to the site again about one week later. I am still very careful and begin to consult with their customer support team about my concerns—sizing and color.

In our communication, I found that their customer support team is very professional in answering my questions. They told me they have custom size service to guarantee the perfect fitting. They are very patient to help to get my accurate measurements. I also care color very much. They send me several colors similar to plum and describe each specific color with detailed language. With the pictures and their descriptions, I can know the color very well and finally choose plum after comparing carefully. I am very pleased with their considerate service.

Have to mention, the total cost of my dress (including the dress price, shipping fee and custom-made fee) is only a fraction of those at boutiques. As my dress is made to order, it takes approximately 15 days to receive it. I do not mind it at all since the event is about two months later. After they dispatch my dress, they inform me the tracking number, very good!

When the dress comes to my house, I try it on immediately. It is very form-fitting. From the bodice part to the skirt hemline, everywhere fits me perfectly. The plum color is really what I want and the same as what they describe. The stitching is good, too. I cannot find any flaw on my dress. The dress is worthy to every penny I paid for it. It is far beyond my highest expectation for it. It is really a surprise for me. The whole purchasing process is pleasant.

In a word, I am very satisfied with UW’s dress and their service.

To everyone out don't never buy a dress from this company take forever to get it this will be our 25 year of marriage

First this company does not publish all reviews. I posted my review and still can't find it and the produxt rating is five stars. My experience is what you have read in most of the others. Poor customer service, horrible product with correct measurements and crooks with shipping deductions. Stay away from this company.

I would like to help others avoid what I have experienced with this awful company. I ordered a dress for my best friends wedding in May. I wrote in the notes to specifically not charge my card if I could not return. They then offered me custom sizing. I took my measurements sent them out and was very excited to receive my dress. The moment the dress arrived I knew something was up, being that it was in a cheap plastic bag! A dress of that price should not be sent in a cheap bag without a garment bag or hanger to prevent wrinkles, so I immediately knew something was up. I opened the bag and the dress was not even wrapped in tissue and extremely wrinkled. It looked way different than the picture and absolutely huge. I tried it on and it was awful. I emailed them immediately with my dissatisfaction and was told I needed to take s picture in the dress (creepy). After taking pictures they told me I would have to go to my local post office and find out how much it would cost to ship back and then tell them the price. Super sketchy! I then looked them up and found this site with all of the same complaints! This company is disgusting. They then told me to keep the dress and they would refund me $25, mind you I spent nearly $100! Sending it back is going to cost me more than it's worth! They have been cheating customs and "marking down the price rate" as they told me in my email when I addressed the fact that the "100% polyester dress" was marked "$30" value on the customs sheet. I would like to join others on shutting this company down.

I had to report this company to the Better Business Bureau and to the police. I purchased a dress from them in the beginning of January 2016, when my dress had not arrived after I had paid expedited shipping and it was the beginning of February, I send them an email. I checked my order online and it still says processing. The dress arrived one day after I filed my complaint, one of my dress arrived.

Fast forward the next morning when I open up the box to find the wrong size dress and the wrong color dress. Mind you, I ordered this dress in January for a late March wedding. It is the bridesmaids color for her wedding and of course is very important to her.

I immediately wrote them and ask them to exchange it. After they would not admit the shipping was their fault and they tried to blame me for ordering the wrong color, even though I had the receipt , they told me to go to the post office and find out how much it would cost to send it back.

I barely wanted to do that, but I did. I told him honestly how much it would cost and they told me that they were going to deduct the shipping amount $26 times two because I was going to have to pay them back for shipping that they sent to me and not be "sale price. "

None of this made sense, so I googled their company name.

Then I found out, this company is known for being fraudulent. Please do not purchase from them and contact me if you would like to file your name against them to the better business bureau and to the international trade association who is building a case to shut them down.

I don't think it is fair that they get negative ratings. You have to know what you want (color, hemline, sleeve, etc) and get the measurement right. Once you do all that, they will make perfect dress as described by you. You have to do all initial homework from your end. The dress they made are just as beautiful and have high quality standard as you correctly described what you need. Otherwise, it is not surprising you get disappointed because you didn't exactly know what you want.

My husband and I were just married on the 25th of July, 2015. I didn't want my 6 girls paying exhorbitant amounts of money for a dress they might only wear once, and also wanted to have a uniform color with different style options. 5 of my 6 girls elected the custom measurement option, which only cost $15 and allowed them to get a dress tailored to their specific measurements. They all found dresses that they loved, and the 5 that got custom dresses said that they were very happy with the fit. My 6th gal gained some weight and her dress was a little too tight. When she went to return it, she was told that she would be responsible for shipping costs back to China, which were very high. This is the one area where I can understand folks would be frustrated. She has very high anxiety and ended up dropping out of the wedding altogether, so the dress became a bit of a moot point, but for her, it was very frustrating because she got stuck paying for a dress that does not fit her for a wedding that she opted out of. Not a good experience there. The return policy really needs to change. However, otherwise, I ordered color swatches that arrived very, very quickly (before the forecasted tracking date), and they were very quick to reply to my concerns. One of my girls requested thicker straps, not spaghetti, and they complied without any issues at all, and without adding cost. When the dresses arrived, they were all squished up in a plastic bag package, but as soon as they were out, they loosened up and looked just lovely. The color was so nice, just as bright as the website, and the dresses looked like their pictures. They even arrived a couple days ahead of schedule. The only dress issue that I can mention came in the accessories--on the website, its obvious that the model in the photo didn't try on each dress in all of the 40-50 different color options; it's pretty obvious that the company just took the photo in one color, and then used some sort of program that lays the different color options over the dress so you can see what it looks like in different colors. As a result, rhinestones or pearls that are actually white on the dress come out the dress color in the online photo, and they don't mention this when you click on the color to order. As a result, the rhinestone buckle on my sister's dress that looked the same blue as the dress was actually done in traditional diamond-colored rhinestones, and the pearl beading on another dress was actually done in white pearls, not blue like it looked in the photo. I can see how this would have been a huge issue for a more picky bride, but they were minor details that actually looked really beautiful for our wedding.

Overall, we elected for custom measurements and came out with dresses that fit very well and looked beautiful. Color was gorgeous and dresses were, except for those noted specifics, true to the pictures. Both the dresses and swatches arrived before the forecasted dates, and we were all, overall, very happy with the experience. Had we had to return dresses, however, I know that there would have been many problems, mostly from a financial perspective. Overall, I think we just chose the right options, and everything worked. I would recommend ordering custom--spend the fifteen bucks, overestimate by a couple inches on your measurements, and if you need to, you can always get a bit of it taken in, just like a more expensive dress that you can buy in a JC Penney or TTNYC. A good experience overall, and we were very pleased on the day of the wedding.

I ordered a bridesmaid dress for my sister's wedding which arrived in a plastic bag three days ago. I opened it immediately and tried it on. The dress reeked of fish and the fit was awful. The dress looked nothing like the picture online. I contacted them immediately to process a return. I was emailed a response requesting a picture of me in the dress. Though this made me uncomfortable, I obliged. I was sent an email by uwdress stating the dress fit me well, I just needed to pull it up a few inches. (?!) I realized this company was completely shady, so I filed a claim with American Express. I received another email from uwdress this evening informing me I could return the dress, but I would have to pay shipping without their "discount." Their discounted shipping cost was around $20, and the product arrived in a cheap plastic bag. From what I gather, they will charge me around $40-$50 for their supposed shipping cost. This company sells poor products and makes their money off their inflated return shipping costs. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE!! Hopefully American Express will stop supporting their site if they get enough claims such as this.

I ordered my bridal shower dress from them. I looked horrible in it and didnt even look like the picture on the site. Just like everyone else is saying they tell you they won't refund the entire amount back. Telling me that they will give me 36 bucks back if I just want to sell the dress my self when I paid 119 dollars. If I were to ship it back it would be 65 dollars and they were only going to refund be 70 dollars because of shipping. When I checked out shipping said it was only 20 dollars but they said it was 45 that I got a sale price on shipping when that's not what the site said. I will never order anything from them again and no one should either.

This is the second time I bought a dress from UWDress.com. Good as before.

First of all this company is in CHINA!!! Worst online shopping experience of my life. I had to return a dress to them. They said they could not refund the entire amount (even though it had not been worn even once and the tags were still on) because of some stupid reason regarding shipping charges on their end. I had to pay nearly $30.00 to have it shipped back to China. I finally got an email about a month later that stated they received the dress would give me a partial refund. Then the next day I got another email that said they could not refund my credit card and that I needed to check with my bank. There is nothing wrong with my card it is complete BS!!! I tried to email them back and convieniently the email won't go through to them. They are crooks!! I was screwed on this whole entire transaction. I don't recommend them for ANYTHING!!!!!

After ordering this dress to be in a friends wedding. It did not fit. The arm holes are cut weird and it was too small. My bust is 38" and I ordered the 14W which stated it was 41" bust. I was also 40 weeks pregnant at the time of ordering. As soon as the dress came in, I tried it on. since it did not fit I emailed them right away. They are very rude and it takes a day to get back to you. They first wanted a picture of the dress on and wanted my exact sizes. Then after I though the wedding party was going to return the dresses they wanted me to pay $65 for a new dress and they wanted me to "sell" the one I had online. After speaking with the bride who is just fed up with them, I asked for a refund. They then offered me a custom dress for $40. DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE. unless you are positive it will fit because they are located in China. And in order to receive a refund you have to pay to mail the dress back, THEN they only want to refund you $67.32 Even though the dress is listed as $89.99. I paid $24.22 for shipping. That's $114.21. They will refund $67.32. THEY ARE charging you $46.89 for shipping cost that I only paid $24.22 for!! I would give them 0 stars but they don't allow it.

I sent exact measurements yet recived a totally different dress wrong color that was to large and 3 inches to short! I requested a return....I was told I could not be refunded or credited for shipping $47.00 (even thought the invoice says $20.00; was told that was a "error") then I will have to pay shipping to return the wrong dress. After this whole process...my refund for the wrong dress....$11.23. Yup I stull paid over $100.00 for a dress that they have and will pawn off on some other unsuspecting person...WORST ONLINE SHOPPING EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! DONT DO IT PEOPLE, IT WONT END UP WELL!!!!!

Don't Ever buy from this company. They deduct shipping charges from the cost of the dress when you've already paid for shipping. What a scam!

I wish I had read the reviews before ordering from UWdress.com. The dress I received was not the same color as pictured on their website. I ordered item #42187 in ridge gray and it showed up almost plum in color and the sequins were black even though they were white on their website picture. The return process has been a complete nightmare. They will not refund the shipping they charged me to send the wrong dress and will not credit me the shipping I will pay to ship it back. Furthermore, they are now telling me the shipping charge that shows on the invoice when I ordered was wrong at $20 and that it was actually $40 so they will deduct $20 from the cost of the dress and only refund me $68 for the dress rather than the $88 that I paid for it. I wish I could tell the world not to shop here because you will regret it unless you get the correct dress first time!

I have never had a poor online shopping experience. I wish now I had researched reviews prior to placing my order. I thought purchasing from UWDress would be great. The prices were what I was looking for as these would be dresses my friends would wear for 1 day I wanted to avoid high cost. I expected the quality to be slightly below average but was horrified to find the maid of honors dress had splitting Seams, runs in the material and despite getting a custom fit order the dress was too large in many places. The length was supposed to be just above the ankles but is almost a foot too long! Customer service has been very poor and return policy and process is a nightmare. I am just rolling with it but please do not risk purchasing from this company to save $.

They sent me a wrong dress which looked awful. once I recevied the dress it looked so different so cheap, I was not happy with the dress at all I ordered another one from oysh ouse with a lower price, but not in quality.
