DO NOT TRUST

Over a month ago I have paid for an $338.90 for a watch not in stock. No refund given. No phone calls answered. nice emails sent but i have to now go to my credit card company to chase my money.

Be cafeful and use someone else.

DO NOT BUY FROM VALUE BASKET

Please, please do not buy from Value Basket.

They promised a brand new phone, what I got was a refurbished phone which took 4 weeks to be sent to me.

The box was unsealed, no IMEI number, no original accessories and no screen film.

Do not buy from them - they falsely advertise and will not pay compensation or refund....be warned!

Unrealiable online set-up . Taking orders without intention to fulfil and meet delivery promises.

Wish I had done my investigation on this online set-up before placing my order on the 2nd April and paying for it. Item ( Smartphone) was in stock and was to be dispatched in 2-5 days . After about 6 days when I inquired on phone , got evasive reply from the lady who promised to verify and revert .. which ofcourse she didn't. Immediately thereafter the Order status online changed to " Order being made ready for dispatch" Again 2 days later on inquiring on phone followed up with raising a ticket , the Order status merely changed to " Your order is awaiting pick up for dispatch" . After waiting for a few more days with no sign of dispatch, I inquired on e-mail to which the reply was- we have investigated your case and apology for the delay but due to high volume of order over the last few weeks we are facing a slight backlog and will try to dispatch your order at the earliest. Your patience is appreciated. Again waiting for 2-3 days more and with e-mail follow up the Order status is now changed to "Order Delay" Apologies for inconvenience and now we have given your order priority and hope to dispatch ASAP. Your continued patience is appreciated. Now I have received email from customer service explaining that their supplier for this product is facing problems with the stock deliveries and now they are expecting new stock . however cannot promise despatch date and would you rather cancel your order!!!
Today ends the 39th Day from the time I placed the order with no sight of the delivery. I have already issued notice to this organisation that I will take up the matter with the appropriate Australian consumer protection authorities . And this was my first order with Valuebasket.com.au !

Used Phone

I purchased my phone from Value Basket without reading the reviews. After I ordered I read some reviews and thought this is not good. To my surprise my phone arrived in 6 days from Hong Kong. When I opened the box, it looked like it had been open before and used. The protective film on the screen had been removed and put back tartly and dirty, I put the battery in the phone and found it to be almost fully charged. Then I discovered a phot on the phone of someone's room, their table, plate, paper's on table and a mug with Chinese money in it. I do not believe if this phone was brand new that it would arrive in this condition. Thinking back to the reviews, I thought I would not receive a reply to my complaint, I was surprises to get a response within 24 hours. Although, I made three requests for information about the condition of the phone, these complaints were never answered, only to say it was brand new. Three days ago my complaint about the missing charge was to be looked into be another department, to date I have NOT heard another word. I still believe this phone was used before it was sent to me, it was NOT BRAND NEW.

Good Value for money, Great Service

I did a thorough research on the product and I chose Valuebasket simply because they offered the best price (unbelievable low compared to other outlets). The delivery service was quick and reliable. This would be my first stop for my next product and would recommend the site to family and friends.

Quick overseas delivery

The item arrived much earlier than anticipated with no damage.

My only concern on this site is that there was no mention that the item was coming from overseas. I purchase from Australian website to keep my money in Australia to protect Australian workers.

Other than that, I was happy with the purchase

Overall, a 100% satisfying experience.

I bought a Nikkor 50 MM 1.8 lens from Valuebasket.co.nz. It was my first purchase from them. I don't know why I didn't discover the website a lot earlier. They despatched the lens by Fedex which was amazing because the Nikkor 50MM 1.8 lens (like other products on the website) is priced so low. In fact, the second lowest price in New Zealand was more than $100 more than the Valuebasket price. Totally amazing!
It took just 5 days from ordering to delivery. Tracking on Fedex is a pleasure because it's real time. The lens was packaged so well that even a big drop wouldn't have impacted it.
The Nikkor 50MM 1.8 lens is an amazing lens. I've been wanting to do shallow depth of view (bokeh) shots on my Nikon D5500 and this one gives creamy, dreamy, almost perfect bokeh. The kit lens just didn't cut it although I plan to keep it for use why travelling and wide angle panoramas. If you want to carry just one lens with you all the time, then this is the lens of choice. Plus if you upgrade to full frame (FX) later, you don't need to buy a new lens.
Overall, a 100% satisfying experience.

Worst Customer Service Ever

Pretty sure this company is about to go under. Limited email response with a very generic message once received, no phone support.

I bought an item on the 11th Jan 2016 based on the 2-4 days or processing expecting it to be shipped within the 5-7 term provided online. All i get in my accounts inbox to date is the following

Order Held
Kindly contact us to confirm some details regarding your order by sending us an email via our Contact Us page. From the General and After-Sales Enquiry option, choose 'My Account page says Order Held'.

I just had a phone call with them after sending numerous emails to get a response and know they come back with item not available what a joke had this been the case in the first instance i should not have been able to order the item. I have know had to wait 14 days for them to tell me they do not have the item and would i like something else instead? The lady on the phone informed me that a representative has emailed me, but could not confirm the name of person nor time or email (i have received nothing).

I am now trying to arrange for a refund as they cannot deliver on there promise and that is equally painful. Completely disappointing specifically as i have spent hours trying to resolve this issue to no avail.
