Very very bad service

Very very bad service, I have been charged a lot due the time we took to finish the job. The driver was very slow and he looks like he was walking on the beach during his holidays. Of cousre he knows more time for service more money he can get. Likely I had friends to helping me otherwise I would never finish the job. Today 22/7/18 I was charged for another service from a different driver that I didn't ask for it. I moved to my new flat the 01/7/18. Plus my Playstation was missing or stolen (I've asked my building manager to check cctv). The customer service doesn't answer to my call. I can't even rate to their website for the horrible service that I had. I should read in this website before to book a van with them. This is my first time that I rate a service, I never made a complain like that but this is too much and it start to be ridiculous. This company is a nightmare.

Vanplus AKA Shift purposefully lets…

Vanplus AKA Shift purposefully lets customer think they have the van hired for 1h30 but in reality, the customer can only do 1 run from point A to point B. In Shift's terms they explain another run will be charged the price of the gas (which I was happy to pay) but the driver still refused to do another run (in contradiction with the terms of use).

Absolutely appalling would not…

Absolutely appalling would not recommend to anyone.To quote the driver she was a last resort as the driver booked couldn't make the job.To move a summer house 8ft by 6ft.She was late got lost and had to stop for diesel on the 16 mile journey back.Got charged for 3 and a quarter hours!Unreasonable and from personal experience, useless and very expensive mistake! !!!

Crooks - do not use!!!!

Assuming this is the company that is now going by the name ‘Shift’ but sending emails from no-reply van.plus

Crooks, beware and stay clear of these guys. We ordered a medium size van to move things from our flat, nothing large and no furniture just clothes, items, a couple of instruments etc. They couldn’t be reached and the guy finally turned up more than an hour late. His excuse is that the drivers are freelancers and the company overbooks them on unrealistic timetables to make the most money. We then saw his van which was about the size of the Trotters van from Only Fools and Horses. We complained that this wasn’t a medium van and if it was then what is a small van?? He stated it clearly was a medium van but he estimated out move might take around 8 trips rather than the 1 trip we had booked for. We sent him away but they stole our money anyway. Had no response from them and all of their correspondence is no reply and withheld numbers. Got a random call from them recently on a withheld number to say if I give them a 4 or 5 star review online they will reward me with an Amazon voucher. I told them my experience and she said she would pass onto the customers service department. Weeks later I received an email from no-reply van.plus writte in poor English to say they have reviewed my complaint and spoke to the driver as well as checking his app and can see there were no time issues and the job was completed separately. Obviously they haven’t checked anything as there was no job or travel to be logged on an app as we sent him away. They offered as compensation a £10 discount on our next use of their services. I’m once again not able to contact them in any way which is what they want. They are criminals and by this I don’t mean that they offer a poor service, it is clear that they are outright crooks. Do not use them and ensure you check any company background named something else as they keep changing their name (for obvious reasons)

I have given them 1 star because I can't give less

I have given them 1 star because I can't provide less than 1. First of all, their web site and associated software is bug-laden and their bookings team/customer service are worse than useless. To evidence, we booked a man with a van and received 4 different notifications that a van had been booked. When quizzed on this, we were able to narrow it down to a single booking. The other bookings had "been done in error by trainee staff".
The driver came at 10:30 and carried out the job that took about 1 to 1.5 hours. No complaints about that.
We then received a call (on voicemail) that we were going to be charged for in excess of 425,000 hours and that if we did not respond within 2 hours consent would be assumed and the charge applied. We were out so did not respond within 2 hours.
I called their customer service team. I was told that I would be charged for 1 or 1.5 hours. When I asked for email confirmation (given that their system wanted to charge me for 425,000 hours) I was told that I was unreasonable. I was also told by the bookings team manager that he didn't care about providing customer service because that wasn't his job. He was insulting and constantly spoke over me.
I would NEVER use this organisation again and would caution you the same.

DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE... AVOID!

I booked a van and two men to move two items, i went through in detail on the phone all the measurements and addresses etc.
I had a call a few hours before my time slot from a driver who had no idea of the job even though i had spent ALOT of time previously explaining on the phone. went through all the details AGAIN with the driver.....and then he did not bother to turn up, I tried calling him many times and he ignored my number.. i then tried to call him from another number and he answered straight away hmm..
He said the job was taken off him - it is now a week later and no sign of a van or contact from the company. Absolutely unacceptable! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They also took my card details so i think they are a complete scam!

Awful! Complete waste of time and worst customer service ever.

I would give negative stars if I could! Booked a 2 man team for an office move, they did not arrive. An hour later 1 man arrived, looked at the job, decided he could not do it single handed (shock!) and drove off.
Tried to call them, no answer. Online chat were useless, basically do not use them.
Quick enough to call and take your money, but service was a total sham.

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM !!!!
they call you to sell a service, the agent called kieran took my card details saying that they will not charge my card until the job is completed, i cancelled the job the day after i booked it and THEY CHARGED THE FULL AMOUNT AS IF I RECEIVED THE SERVICE.
I have tried to call them many times no one called me back even tho i left voice mails. I did not received any email to confirm the booking and any email to confirm the cancellation even tho i specifically asked for it !!! zero communication
I went on their website again to check their phone number and they saw i was looking for a quote and then they call me back so they did not call me when i left the voice messages about the cancellation and the charge on my card but they called me when they saw i was looking for a quote again. WHAT A JOKE UNACCEPTABLE, THIS COMPANY should be closed down!!!!! WHAT THEY DO IT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE!
i SPOKE TO THE MANAGER and he kept saying that i was not untitled to the refund, HOW? I cancelled the service i did not received the service and they have not shame in saying that they will not refund my money!! When keiran sold me the service he did not provide any info of the cancellation policy all he said to get his commission and sell the service was: Not worry we would not charge your card if the job is not completed !! THE JOB WAS NOT COMPLETED i cancelled it so why are you taking my money without my authorisation?! what they are doing is Not right they trick customers !!!! I am now going to take this further through legal channels

van plus is literally the worst ever

van plus is literally the worst ever! I would give it no stars if I could. The driver literally cancelled on me last minute and when I mean last minute I mean really last minute (he cancelled when he was already supposed to arrive) and the driver didn't even bother letting us know that it was cancelled. He only texted us back after I kept calling him trying to figure out where he was because he was already supposed to reach my house (the call failed all the times I called) and he texted us with what one would deem vulgar or inappropriate words. And when I tried calling van plus (the only number I had of van plus at that time) regarding the whereabouts of the driver all they told me was they were only in charge of booking and so that they do not know where the driver is at all or if the driver is going to even come at all. Basically being of no help at all. They also transferred my call to the customer support team which never got through. I have absolutely no idea as to what customer team it is when there is literally no one who will pick up your call or reply you on the live chat. I had to call for another van last minute. The worst part is I suddenly got a sms from vanplus saying that my booking got moved to the next day! And this happened without any consultation from me at all or me requesting that I wanted that move! And I tried calling the customer team again wanting to cancel my booking but of course no one picked up my call and my call failed. AND FYI they had already charged me for this last minute cancelled booking. DO NOT BOOK FROM THIS COMPANY EVER

DO NOT USE

DO NOT USE. Turned up three hours before booking and told me 'the time starts from when they arrive, and that there was nothing I do!' rude, unhelpful. I booked loading and unloading, but got absolutely no help.
They were also very rude to me as a woman, ignored me, and did not listen when I told them things were fragile - I had to get my boyfriend to talk to them, so that they listened. Complete shambles. No customer service. I've tried to get in contact with them for four days.

Honestly, worst experience ever, do not use.

What a complete and utter waste of space this company is I booked my house move through them today and 3 minutes before they are due to arrive they cancelled by text!!! I have had no luck contacting them as the phones just ring out. Be warned they will let you down.

Please do not use this company or Shift…

Please do not use this company or Shift as they are now known since takeover.
They abandon you with no customer service when things go wrong and also over charged me after leaving me stranded in a field with all my stuff outside Greenwich during the thunder and lightning storm a few weeks back. I have had to go through my bank as I cannot get anyone to answer on the customer service end to organise my refund which is a pain in the behind and a waste of your time if you are business owner especially. I would stick to the more local companies or national ones that don't have customer service overseas.

Please take notice if reviews

Wish I had read the reviews before booking. They were friendly enough so gave them both a tip but when the receipt came through they overcharged and said it had taken 45 mins more and I was charged an extra £80 which came out of my bank even though I disputed it. When I started to move my furniture around I also noticed scratches on my fridge freezer and my daughters computer desk had been broken. Please don’t use this company. Driver name Jonathon vodin

Van and drivers great but the company…

Van and drivers great but the company is a nightmare! Everything online - nice and easy... but their banking details are incorrect (you as user can't see this) and my payment was returned. Since then I have phoned 4 times - you cannot speak to anyone - and have been threatened with debt collection at 30 % more after 48 hours.

This time has now passed and after numerous emails and phone calls, NO satisfactory replies or correct bank account details supplied.

I now suspect that debt collectors may be used to collect higher amounts (which are already very pricey). They are also demanding a higher than quoted amount after the payment failure.

I have just discovered that my account has been debited with the amount of £182.39 instead of the £142.39 I was quoted and receipted for. Blatant theft. NO communication regarding this.

They seem to be scammers. If not, just totally unprofessional.
