Once the damage is done it's too late.
Turns out I was so desperate for the work to be done I didn't do my homework and it's cost me. I only needed a floor replacement in the back of my van, it's more that a straight forward job because I have the Aircon system in the back and I needed a knowledgeable fitter to avoid the ducting directly under the floor. I was assured that screws would only go as far as the carefully planned dowling laid beneath it. The screws actually went right through the base of my van making it a bit more like a sieve, 2 screws went right through my coolant pipes, which once the engine reach temp caused engine failing damage, leaving me 2k down after paying for the dodgy work carried out and paying for the repair to my van. After a time consuming and very stressful small claim, this case was to go to court which last minute I pulled out of because 1 year later I didn't need the money and couldn't cope with the stress of coming face to face with this man who had caused me so many problems. Don't make the same mistake I made or it'll cost you. Plenty of reputable conversions companies out there.

The claims referred to here were previously raised through the Scottish Simple Procedure court process. That action was later withdrawn by the claimant before any findings were made. At the time the work was completed and the vehicle collected, the claimant confirmed in writing that they were happy with the result.
Our warranty terms require that any concerns are reported to us and the vehicle made available for inspection before any third-party work is carried out. That did not happen in this case. Instead, work was undertaken elsewhere and we were then blamed for alleged damage we were never given a fair opportunity to inspect.
