Avoid, year 2 rip off. Poor service. Charlatans.

Avoid. Unethical. They tried to auto renew two weeks in advance and double their rates. It then takes hours on the call centre to cancel. APP is useless too. Renewal quote was £504. Switched elsewhere for £184. Big rip off. Poor customer service. Still waiting to cancel on the phone line.

Update. Contrary to the response below I did discuss this in detail with you on a long phone call. But I we agreed there was nothing you could do now. This was the opposite to not discussing it. I also declined the £50 Amazon voucher that was ‘offered’ and told you to give it to charity. Again, you didn’t get the complaint, which still fully stands. …dispute an offer if £50 ‘voucher’.

Policies are set to renew automatically unless we are told that cover is no longer required. A renewal invitation is issued in advance to provide notice of the upcoming renewal terms, including the premium and the date payment will be taken. Payment is collected before the renewal date so that cover can continue without interruption at the point the new term begins.

The intention is to provide seamless protection. In the UK, vehicles must remain insured at all times (unless declared off the road). This is a legal requirement, and automatic renewal helps avoid any unintended lapse in cover that could place a customer in breach of these requirements.

That said, I am very sorry that the renewal price offered was not competitive on this occasion, and I am equally sorry to hear of the difficulty you experienced when trying to contact us to cancel. I also note your comment regarding My Portal, and I regret that your experience with both our service and the app left you feeling so disappointed.

We did try to contact you to discuss these concerns directly, but appreciate that you did not wish to discuss this matter. Should you change your mind, we remain here and would welcome the opportunity to address your concerns properly.

We are dedicated to resolving issues to our customers satisfaction, and making amends where appropriate is important to us. Please also be assured that your feedback is being taken seriously, as it helps us improve our service.

Rude staff don't even say goodbye just put the phone down on you. Spent an hour sorting insurance only to have the phone put down on me with no idea if my van is actually insured or not. Would not recommend using this company.

Rude customer services.

Customer advisor was very rude and ignorant.
When i said i wanted to cancel my quote due to excessive uplift in price, i was just told "OK fine" and the phone was put down.
A few seconds later I got another call and told them I had just cancelled and again rude and arrogant advisor who put the phone down.

23RD March update.
Had a call from CS who have promised they will deal with the training needs of the individual concerned. They will not be sacked but will be trained as requested. I did not ask for it but got an amazon voucher as an apology. I ended up getting insurance cheaper elsewhere in the end so all is well that ends well.

This company hounded me for an…

This company hounded me for an insurance policy they took out on my behalf after only asking for a quote for a van I didn't end up buying. Left a negative review which they promptly begged me to remove promising the matter was closed. This had gone on for years. So like a fool I removed the review. Only to now find that rather than close the issue they simply sold the debt on to a debt collection agency (AGAIN) so now I'm going to pay it but I advise you very strongly to not use this awful company or at least record all calls and save all emails from them.

Was going okay I made a mistake as I…

Was going okay I made a mistake as I didn’t think insurance number one went through didn’t wanna drive my truck and lose it so I was looking for another insurance company in the meantime the next day the insurance for the first one I went through came through so I’ve had to prove that I was insured to get my money back ever since then I’ve had problems. I’ve sent it half a dozen times still have no luck. I can’t afford to lose £216 if the other insurance company wasn’t that good I would’ve considered eventually using the company van all I want is me money back because I’ve proved it.
