I bought a few dvds from Vanishing Inc. One of these was in Korean with English subtitles. It was impossible to make the subtitles appear. I checked the settings of my dvd player twice. Everything was ok. I went to a friend's place to play the dvd on his dvd player. Same problem, no subtitles. I contacted Vanishing Inc. I was offered a store credit without having to return the dvd. I said that I prefered a refund. I got the refund a short time later without having to return the faulty dvd. I really appreciate not having to ship back the dvd because shipping from Canada to the USA has become very expensive.

Great shopping experience! Well designed and easy to browse website. Got good feedback about the whole process when they sent the order. Quick delivery and everything as ordered.

One of the deck of playing cards had defects/dents on the top corner (most likely a defect from factory). After e-mailing them about this they were very quick to reply and sent a new deck as a replacement.

My whole shopping experience, contact with the company and all has been great! I will definetly order from them again in the future and I can highly recommend anyone else to do the same.

I ordered a twelve pack of the Richard Turner Gold Standard Bicycle playing cards and six of the Bee Lotus Casino Quality Club Special playing cards. So happy with Vanishing Inc. online ordering system and fair pricing. The efficiency of the despatch of the order was impressive, but receiving it in Sydney, Australia to the door within five days was a bonus and greatly appreciated as I have only recently begun to learn card Magic and of course, very eager to receive these decks. So, I rarely ever subscribe to magician sites cause the customer service is never par, they just want to make sales. But these guys are Phenomenal.
I once ordered a book shipment during Magic Live, a major convention for magicians in Vegas, and I chose the shipping option regular post. Those guys were kind enough to send me my shipment expedited in 24 hours!!!! And I'm in CANADA!!!

I'm new to Vanishing Inc. They made a great first impression that I will not soon forget.

My order consisted of several decks of cards, specifically, the ever less common to locate MAGIC NOTEBOOK Dai Vernon tribute deck, issued in eight different color styles in 2016 in extremely limited quantities. I also ordered a heavy Carat Case with magnetic sealing corners.

Ordering from a magic house can be a see-saw with two ends forming the experience: customer service and the item ordered.

Four possible outcomes:

1) Customer service is UP, but the item ordered is not that great or worse and is DOWN.

2.) DOWN customer service but excellent UP item.

3.) DOWN service and DOWN item. Both ends of the teeter totter are grounded. This means it actually broke at the fulcrum. No trust left to teeter nor totter.

4) Both ends UP. At the minimum, this means equilibrium and balance. A more than pleasant transaction.

But it sometimes goes further. In magic, we call it levitation, with some effects not only floating in suspension, but ascending.

That was what my experience was like with Vanishing Inc: Both ends way UP. The cards themselves are an exercise in restraint and subtle design - from the tuck box case that looks like a vintage paper booklet of the type that was once used to convey specific effects, to the the solid color card backs, these cards herald an analog respite from digital encroachment. I imagine the only reason they can still be found is because of the current boom in complex back designs. That boom worked to my advantage in finding these still available decks. I think Vernon would have loved the design.

The heavy crystal case is exactly what you want to highlight a specific favorite deck and place it on display. Perfect for a CEO's power desk; perfect on the coffee table in a trailer park retirement community in the deserts of Arizona. Quality persists environment.

Back in the day I got burned out on experiencing the BOTH SEE-SAW ENDS DOWN outcome, mainly through Johnson Smith Co. and Hank Lee's Magic Factory.

I blame myself for the Johnson Smith broken see-saws. JS was an obvious warehouse of anything they thought they could sell and you were trying to take a shortcut from going to the local magic shop back then.

But Hank's left a lingering distrust of ordering magic supplies by mail from specialized companies.

YEARS of distrust.

Many claimed Hank's was great, which in my opinion only at best proves erratic company behavior.

With Vanishing Inc's attention to packing, shipping, and follow up, I have to say I'm feeling a bit reborn regarding this whole subject.

I recommend Vanishing Inc with no hesitation and without reservations.

Finally.

You can focus on the pursuit of the art and relax.

That's the kind of see-saw I want to ride.

Vanishing Inc. has been one of my favorite places to shop. The fact that Joshua Jay is my most favorite trickster might have little to do with that. Vanishing’s Wizards have a lot to do with it. Josh and Andy’s place is the only one with total support both before and after purchase. They always respond and more often than not immediately. From my own experience they respond even years after the purchase. And not only that, they won’t quit until they know I’m satisfied. Who does that? A handful of stars to Vanishing.

Really excellent customer service! Initially, I received the incorrect quantity of an item (playing cards), which can happen. Contacted Vanishing Inc's customer service and they immediately sorted it out!
The replacement order arrived a few days later and Vanishing Inc. even reimbursed me for the extra custom-taxes I had to pay.

I have ordered quite a lot from Vanishing inc and have never once had anything but respect and reverance for how they do buisness and treat their customers. It's also the only online magic shop i've gone on and felt like i just stepped into a real shop instead, and was being assisted by a truly caring and knowledgable staff.

And the quality of merchandise offered is truly beyond compare and first rate. No fake vomit or doggie doo, rubber chickens, etc here. Just truly high end effects, books, props, downloads, etc.

And as for the service, i'm totally speechless. Especially today. Joshua Jay, a man i highly admire and respect for all he's done for the art of magic, especially with the youth of magic, and hope to meet one day, just released all of his 12 year run of "talk about tricks" articles from Stan Allan's "MAGIC" magazine in hardcover. And what beauties they are, weighing in at 13 pounds total! THICK 2 volume set.

I ordered talk about tricks just before the great live stream started just 2 days ago at 5pm. And i chose the free 5 to 20 day shipping so was figuring i'd be waiting a while as they ship from california and i'm in upstate N.Y.. . I got a text this morning befire 10am stating that they just arrived at the post office i have my p.o. box at and were ready for pick up! Now that's service! Any wonder why i love vanishing inc and especially their super speedy order processing, picking, packaging, and shipping departments??!! Every buisness, both on and off line, should have such great order processing, picking, packaging, and shipping departments. Huge thanks and kudos all around. 👏👍👊🙃 (& i know. Usps helped too, but they've screwed up on me too much all the time for me to feel like thanking them😆. But i do)
