Purchasing my van from Van Monster Wakefield has been absolutely brilliant from start to finish. They do not pressure you in ANY way at all. They are a genuine team of people who have your best interest & their customer service is 100%. I would like to thank especially Lewis & Chris. As a female buying a van they had the most respect, explained everything clearly & kept me up to date with all the progress. I would give their service 6 stars if I could.

Unfortunately iv had nothing but issues…
Unfortunately iv had nothing but issues since buying a van from here, iv had my van for nearly 8 months and its now needing more repairs,
upon collection the van had a panel sticking out, it was *repaired* only to pop back out again, the repair place I took it to said they thought it had been bumped.
Then I had an adblu issue, was told to take it to Huddersfield for repairs, was assured it would be able to be driven home even if they couldn't fully repair it then, to then be told I couldn't take it home, they had no hire vans so I ended up stuck in Huddersfield until my friend with a van could come and pick me up, they then couldn't sort it so ended up in the repair shop for 3 weeks after been told it was different issues
They continued to give me wrong information (after sales) about where id need to collect the van or drop it off, I was told id need to drop it off places with no regard to the fact I had no other transportation or way of getting home or to work etc,
I had northgate telling me the vans weren't great and peugeot in general have a bad reputation when collection a hire van
My head unit with plug in android isnt working properly, I was told they had ordered parts, never heard anything again but due to agro of it all I didnt chase it up
Iv now ended up with the reverse lights and sensors not working on the van so its off the road again.
The sales team in the shop are great but overall im absolutely appalling service from after sales , they did acknowledge my complaint but this was also before more issues happened.
I feel iv been sold a van thats not fit for use.
I will update this review when iv had more information based on van monsters response

Along with the incredible customer service I received, Chris also went above and beyond when I had a problem and completely put every right.
Ive been in business for 23 years and never came across anyone so genuine in sales. So much so if Chris ever left and went else where I would 💯 be happy to purchase from him again. Walked in to the showroom and talked to…
Walked in to the showroom and talked to Lewis and explained to him want we were looking for
He told me what stock was available and walked around three vans which fitted our needs with the keys
Gave us all the information we needed and never put any pressure on us to buy any of the vans
We went away to decided on a van we wanted phoned Lewis he then sorted everything out and two days later we we were driving away in our van
Also during the hand over and sales Lewis explained everything simple and accurate

From the first phone call I made to the…
From the first phone call I made to the Wakefield showroom, I felt like I was dealing with a down-to-earth, no-nonsense team.
Lewis handled the process as I figured out which vehicle would best fit my needs - and he took the time to head out into the winter cold, tape measure in hand, to work on some internal dimensions I'd requested. More than once!
Everything from that point until I was given the keys (to an excellent, valeted van) was explained clearly, and thoroughly.
Nothing was a bother, and I rest easy with the confidence that my used van is in great shape.
I never got the impression Lewis was 'selling' anything to me. Rather, he was helping me get what I wanted. When I first got in the van I realised there were a few bonus features that were never pushed to entice the deal; i.e. a fully-filled AdBlue tank (that means I don't need to pay CAZ charges), a roof rack, blind-spot mirrors, discreet storage compartments in the cab, plenty fuel in the tank, etc.
The service provided was outstanding.

Thank you to Chris at Wakefield branch. I initially emailed to see if I could go look at a van just to measure up for my dog walking business as I’d be looking to buy in the near future. I had specific requirements for family and business. He left a voicemail saying am more than welcome to pop up. I didn’t actually go as did find the measurements online. When i was ready to buy he arranged reservation of a van i’d spotted on the site that was in prep. As soon as the van arrived at Wakefield he rang me. I went to view it that afternoon. Test drive. Helped me double check measurements so I was sure it would be perfect for my needs. Gave me a price for my old van. which I knew wouldn’t be much due to age and mileage. But every little helps.
Van needed a clean and a tyre as Chris very vigilantly spotted a screw in one on delivery. He pushed the work through so I could collect the next day. Love the new van and my new dog cages arrived a week early and they fit! Yay!
Highly recommended. No pushy sales tactics. Great sense of humour. Listened to my requirements. And I’ve ended up with my dream dog walking van.
