Where do I begin. From the moment we arrived, this place fell well short of what was advertised, and the experience only got worse from there.
*Cleanliness:* The original towels were visibly stained and dirty. When we raised this, the host's first response was to argue that it was just "the linen getting old" and the marks were from fading logos, not dirt. That is not an acceptable excuse, and frankly not our problem. We are paying guests on an 8 night stay, we are entitled to clean towels, full stop. It took two days of back and forth to get replacements, and when they finally arrived, two of the new towels were also dirty. On top of that, the soap dispenser was completely empty and the bathroom cabinet had hair in it. We essentially had nothing to properly shower with for a significant part of our stay.
*Missing amenities:* The host's own house manual clearly states that shower gel, shampoo, and a bar of soap are provided as a courtesy on arrival. We received body milk and a soap bar, no shampoo, no shower gel. When we raised it we were told they were "running low" and it would be sorted the next day. It wasn't. Combined with the empty soap dispenser, we had very little to actually wash with throughout the stay.
*Maintenance:* The bathroom door was broken, the bedroom door doesn't close properly, the sink was loose, the shower door had issues, and the AC units don't respond to the remote. A technician came but only spoke Spanish with no briefing from the host team, so we couldn't communicate half the issues and several remain unresolved to this day.
*Staff attitude:* Vanrays were consistently dismissive, slow to respond, and evasive. Every follow-up felt like pulling teeth. When we raised legitimate concerns we were met with deflection rather than solutions. The cleaning staff were outright disrespectful when they came by, which was completely uncalled for on a stay of this price.
For a stay costing well over €1,500 this standard is simply unacceptable. Avoid.
