Being able to make this work with my time schedule and personalized to my needs is what make this great.
My instructor Dana was extremely knowledgeable and more than patient with me. He made sure I understood the material covered and made it easily absorbable.
Excellent! Math scores at their highest. Grateful to Varsity Tudors and Tri for developing confidence in studying and test taking!
This is a great program. My instructor is incredible. She is smart, funny, and engaging. I struggle with learning but she keeps me going
Challenging words and fun memorization techniques to remember the words given by the tutor.
I had an amazing experience with Varsity Tutors while preparing for my NCLEX. I worked with Tiffanie, and she was absolutely incredible. After not passing on my first attempt, I felt discouraged and anxious, but she completely changed my mindset and approach to the exam.
Tiffanie didn’t just review content with me; she taught me effective test-taking strategies and how to break down NCLEX-style questions. Most importantly, she helped me manage my test-taking anxiety and build confidence going into my second attempt.
Thanks to her support, guidance, and encouragement, I passed my NCLEX on my second try! I truly believe her coaching made all the difference. I highly recommend Varsity Tutors and, especially, Tiffanie to anyone preparing for the NCLEX.
Yovanna is an excellent tutor. My daughter is currently getting an A in French and enjoys her tutoring sessions.
Graziella is an excellent teacher.mmShe has helped me perfect my basic knowledge of Italian.
Inadequate info given when signing up for tutoring. Despite explaining I had no email access on my computer, which I explained repeatedly, I was told using my phone email access would still enable tutoring to get my email back on my computer. That was not the case. That would have been needed correction before the tutoring session. I made sure to confirm my phone number and ask that the tutor had it so I could be called if the session wasn’t going correctly. Tutor wasn’t given the number. Emails about scheduling were consistently inaccurate. Wrong times. Showing info about a particular tutor yet the picture of the person did not match. Horrible experience with customer service and salesperson given incomplete and inaccurate information. Never again will I use or suggest this service.

Varsity Tutors was an overall decent experience, but there are some important things prospective customers should be aware of.
The positive: I did receive the academic help I needed, and the tutor I ultimately worked with was knowledgeable and helpful. The sessions were structured and beneficial, and I was able to make progress in my course.
However, there were a few challenges. The service is quite expensive, especially for specialized or graduate-level courses. In my case, there were limited tutor options available for my specific subject area. I also experienced occasional language barriers and inconsistent internet connections with some tutors, which sometimes made sessions less efficient.
The most frustrating part of the experience was the billing structure. If you plan to stop services, you must call before the start of a new billing cycle. Otherwise, you are automatically billed in advance for the next month of sessions — even if you no longer need them. I was billed just one day into a new cycle and was told the charge could not be reversed. That left a disappointing final impression.
Overall, the tutoring itself was helpful, but I would strongly recommend carefully reviewing the billing policies before signing up.

This company connected me with the right tutor. He is very knowledgeable and well prepared, very patient as he listened to my comments and thoughts. Look forward to our next visit!
Actually would give a negative one
My daughter Never got the tutor she was promised for college. She called several times that day she was promised a tutor and could not speak to anyone. She also texted them & they said they will provide her with one for this specific night before a test. Never got one.
Try to cancel and almost impossible to reach someone
Finally cancelled and never received my $639 dollars back yet
Just emails saying we are looking into request
Do not use this tutor service
They will take your money immediately over the phone and not fulfill their promise
I am now working with wonderful tutors at another company.

Loretta is a very good tutor and I like working with her because she listens and has given me good suggestions.
It's great to strategize on my project with William.
My son, 11 years old is happy to take the lesson once a week. Teacher Alexander explains slowly and clearly.
It’s been very easy for Kyle, my son to get support through Varsity Tutor. I have referred a couple of his friends to you also. He’s lucky to find 2 great tutors, one for math and the other for AP Bio. 💕 I wish there is more flexibility of rolling over the monthly classes. Sometimes, life gets in the way and it’s a bit stressful to remember if we finished using our monthly classes credits.
