Excellent pair of Meindl boots. £170 for a £270 pair of boots in the uk. Unfortunately I then had an additional £60 import tax charged by DHL. Still cheaper than I could get anywhere else and great quality as you’d expect from meindl.

I tried to order some Swarovski binoculars, but they never shipped in over a week. I don't think they had them is stock and they never shipped them. Varuste.net is impossible to get in touch with and customer service is non-existent. I recommend you avoid this seller at all costs. I know their prices are good, but you will never get what you ordered, and you will have one big frustrating experience with them.

I have bought quite a few items from this company, this time I bought a new jumper for my girlfriend for her birthday. Item was purchased on 2nd of November , item wasn’t sent until the 8th of November, and still not arrived, now the 16th of November. Birthday has now been and gone. There are a lot of companies out there who deliver a lot faster and also don’t charge for delivery over a certain amount of time. I know this company is slightly cheaper than most but when you add the delivery charge and the time it takes to be delivered is it worth the few euros saved? I will still order from this company but only for items which don’t need a time scale

I bought a Rab jacket at a good price…
I bought a Rab jacket at a good price however nowhere on the site did it tell me they would get fedex to bill me for nearly £100 import taxes and vat to UK.Found out after taxes were paid.Tried 5 times no answer on phone.Sent me an email with a clever informative piece on import taxes however too late.Jacket is very good but company not upfront and only talk on email.Very Disappointing.
I then emailed for a resolution and got this reply
“Hi,
there is little to be solved.
You have accepted the terms and conditions when you made the order and we have notified you multiple times about the taxes and customs fees.”
This was after the concerned reply on trustpilot .My conclusion is they are not upfront about taxes to pay on items entering uk it is hidden somewhere on they’re site it definitely wasn’t on the payment page.
Some rude person answers all the emails in a dismissive manner and they do not answer the phone but it is a premium line which charges while you wait.
Please do not buy off this site outside of EU as it will be very expensive.
I now wait for the kindly lip service reply about reaching out to resolve this.

After making my purchase I started reading the reviews and I have to say I was a little skeptical of this site and wondering if I'd done my money on something I'd never get. They are slow with their service all round however they do get back to you and you will receive your product so don't get negative with them. My products arrived to Australia within the week they were sent and everything was in place, it just took them 2 months to get the product. So hang in there and all will be good. Thanks for the unusual experience.

It was the first time I bought from this company, due to some negative reviews it was with some fear that I made my purchase as it wasn't cheap, but the price was much lower than on the rest of the websites in Europe.
It was a pleasant surprise, the website was user friendly, all the information was provided immediately, I always followed the order, and within a few days it arrived as expected to Portugal. I have already made a second purchase due to the excellent price and purchasing system. 5 stars.

I placed an order on 27 October 2024. Varuste.net send me tracking number for UPS package with a link to track the package. When clicking the link it opened UPS website with a red message: "Currently, we are not able to provide the tracking details. We can’t locate shipments if we haven’t received information from the shipper yet,". When I placed my order the item was in stock and still in stock until now. Varuste.net in their website under the title: "Availability" said:
Some items of this product are available in our stock. The delivery time for this product is immediately if it is in our stock. Otherwise it is approximately 14 - 30 day(s) from the order. The reliability of the estimation is good.
Are they scam? So far yes!

Han Weg Tatra II ladies boots and expensive custom & Excise fees
Review on Han Weg Tatra II ladies boots
Needed to replace due to sole peeling away following 4 years use.
Prices had risen steeply and at £288 in store, found this site was a great saving of £100. There was a comment on the site that shipping costs could incur taxes and custom charges. The costs were not stated on the site, as I have found on others when purchasing.
I have been charged nearly £50 by fed ex.
This has meant in reality that I’ve saved little, as the local shop would have offered a discount.
This review is not about the boots, as I have found them comfortable, although surprised at not lasting so long.
I am alerting UK customers that they may want to reconsider ordering from this company due to now being out of EU and incurring heavy custom and excise charges.
