The tow folks were patient, courteous kind and fast! They treated my 84 year neighbor with the utmost respect as a retired Vet!!!!

The guy was on time. Very nice guy. I left something in the car that was important and he reminded me that I left something in the car. I thought i did a pretty good job of making sure everything was taking out the car that I wanted. Always take a second look you may leave something of value.

The driver was prompt and professional. I was sad to see the vehicle go, but Vehicles for Veterans made it as pain-free as possible.

Paperwork was minimal. Scheduling pick-up of my donated vehicle was painless. My communication with the admin staff was pleasant and they kept me updated on what to expect and when. Super easy process!

Very disappointed with Vehicles for Veterans with my car donation in June 2025. I donated a car in Phoenix a few years ago with another charity that set the standard for quality service. Vehicles for Verterans was unprofessional, unaccountable and a frustrating process from start to finish.

Here are a few examples of my frustation:

I specifically wanted the car picked up on a future date; the local company then proceeded to call me every few days wanting to pick it up earlier. I threatened to stop the donation altogether.

After the car was picked up, I expected an email thanking me for the donation and letting me know a ballpark valuation for the donation. I heard nothing.

I sent emails requesting a confirmation on the pick up and never heard back from anyone. One day, a letter arrived giving me a tax receipt.

When I wrote to the Vehicles contacts, they passed the accountability to the tow truck firm that picked up the car. I didn't want a run around; I just wanted a simple answer.

I will never use this organization again.
