That said, we’ve noted your comments about certain fees and delays.
To clarify, the “oxidation fees” will apply daily only if your account has been inactive for 6 months and are set at 0.02% per day of your Veracash account balance. They can easily be stopped at any time by taking any action on your account, such as making a purchase of at least 1 VRC.

Stay away, there are much better alternatives. For example Kinesis.Money
They charge you a huge DAILY fee and call it "oxidation". This is adding up to a lot over a whole year. This is an absolute no-go, they simply charge your account for no reason. All other fees are far to high as well, customer support is responding very very slowly.
It takes up to 10 days (!!!!!!) to process a transaction, and they dont show you on what spot price they are selling the metals. So, once you want to sell some metals, they are in control over the transaction, not you.
I dont feel anymore my funds are safe at Veracash.
Go to kinesis.money instead, much better!

We only charge the 0.02% per day "oxidation fees" if your account has been inactive for more than six sliding months. It was designed to encourage the circulation of VeraCash money on our members’ accounts, and we make sure to let you know by email when it's starting.
You can easily avoid it by:
- topping up your account with at least €1;
- debiting your account at least €1 (using your debit card for example);
- sending or receiving at least €1 to/from another member.
We are very sorry to hear that you believe our fees are too high. For the purchase of GoldPremium (backed by coins), the entry fee is 3%, for Goldspot (bullion) 0.5% and for silver metal, 7% to cover us against price risks. We think these fees are reasonable and for most of our customers, these are the only ones they have to pay as reselling gold using the card is free, even outside the euro zone...
Regarding to your transactions, we are very sorry that you did not find our process clear. We do not want you to think we take control over your transaction, we do our best to do them as soon as possible when it is asked. On demand, we can give you the information you need regarding the price charts.
I'm surprised by your comment on our customer support as our last exchange was made of several emails on the same days, both July 12th and August 1st. If you need any more information please let us know and we will make sure to answer you in the best delays.
Again, we apologise for the unsatisfactory customer experience you seem to have had. Feedback from our members is very important. We take your concerns into consideration to improve in the future.

The first and mightiest point: I have to give my EU tax ID. When my government decides that gold is too precious for normal people they just grab what I have. And my government hurt people too often in an unjustified way and they destroy too much. Just use something out of EU burocracy. Well, that is not VeraCash's fault and they are just forced to. But maybe set this thing up somewhere else.
If you do so: your help link has to work. In my case the browser opened a new tab and ... nothing. I never would hand over any money to such a company.
The reason why I looked for help: there is no point to close/delete my account. Also just a nogo.
Guys, you are not sending toys. You want to work in finance business.

As you mention it, we do not have the choice to ask you for your EU documents in order to let you use your VeraCash account. As we offer financial services and payment services across the EU, we have to comply with EU financial regulation.
Regarding to gold logistics, I can assure you it only depends on us! You definitely own grammes of physical gold, located in the free ports of Geneva in Switzerland.
Now for the help link part... We are truly sorry for the inconvenience. You're right on the "we are not sending toys" part, and that is the reason why we are trying to improve our service for English-speaking members. We are currently merging our .fr website and our .com so that you can access the same content as our French-speaking members, which explains some broken links (despite the 301 redirects). By September, everything will be fixed and improved, both in the emails we send to you and on our different platforms!

Effectivement, des frais doivent s'appliquer pour l'achat de métaux précieux. Une commission à l'achat allant de 0,5% pour les lingots à 3% pour l'or adossé aux pièces à cours légal et jetons. Si vous gérez bien votre compte, ce sont les seuls frais que vous paierez puisque la vente de métaux via la Mastercard est totalement gratuite !

My account has been blocked and I cannot send funds out, charge more funds, close the account or anything else.
The reason seems to be that there is information missing. I have numerous times (at least eight times via e-mail and trhough theirt website) sent copies of my ID (both sides) and up to date utility bill (water bill). Every time that I sent the requested information I receive an automated reply telling me that the same information is still missing.
In the meantime oxidation charges are being levyed at an alrming rate of 0.02% PER DAY. This has been going on for the last three months.
The company only responds with automated replies. The companies` telephone number that appears on this website is not to be found on their own website.
This ccount appealed to me as a nice concept. The practicalities are trully kafkian: unable to access my funds which are being eaten away to which no meaningfull reply takes place.
This is an open request to Veracash to close my account immediately and refund all oxidation costs.
By the way I want to be able choose the date and time that the metals are sold.
I invite the PR who replies to these reviews to resolve this issue before writing a vanilla reply.

Probably the only way to own gold in a simple way. The Gold can be converted to euro easily using the veracarte, or you can ask a transfer to SEPA account.
Currently, they do not accept RIB from wise or other "neobanque", but the company is in constant evolution and I hope that this functionality will be added soon.
I have personally difficulties to use the card online, and because they have a partnership with another company for the card, solving the problem can take time.
Other than that, it feels good to own Gold, specially during this time of inflation, and I plan to buy more Gold with them when I will finalize the sale of one of my property, to keep it safe.
