I enjoyed working with Verticode. Their thoughtful approach to taking my idea, research, and direction and transforming it into the Palm MVP was impressive. They prioritized optimizing the user experience and executed with efficiency and care, which was evident in the quality of their work.

That said, I believe there is room for improvement in communication during sprints to better manage expectations. I also acknowledge that I could have been more proactive in reaching out.

I've worked with a lot of dev teams over the past 8 years, and working with Verticode was even better than I was hoping. They bring a commercial acumen and problem-solving approach that most, if not all, founders will benefit from, particularly at such a crucial MVP stage. My favourite thing is that it's an open conversation, not a one-way "here's the brief, go build" which works really well.

For our Chatbot, one thing that I absolutely loved and didn't even ask for was the Admin dashboard where the ML justifies its decisions and tell me how it was scoring the dimensions; that was awesome and such an unexpected delight. I also deeply appreciated how Verticode stayed with us and delivered a very accurate product; once we followed your instructions with the Excel sheet that you gave us, we were really cooking with gas. It was really a delight to see the project come alive and to test it. It really leaped up in accuracy after we made those changes. What would have really helped this experience is being able to know upfront what we could and could not build, such as it being proprietary code, the fact that we could not build a CMS system, and the price of hosting after the project ended.
