I’ve just bought a brand new all new Dacia Duster hybrid model which has exceeded my expectations as a fabulous vehicle in all respects. I bought the car from the Renault/Dacia Vertu Exeter dealership. The sales executive was Scott Hillier who has been totally excellent in the sale process. My exposure to him was mainly via phone & email and he was always easy to make contact with. He built an early rapport and I was very impressed with his product and finance knowledge and dealings. This created early trust and his outstanding interpersonal skills made the whole purchase experience probably the very best I’ve had in many years of dealing with the motor trade. We recently purchased a Dacia Spring Extreme from this dealership, and I want to start by saying that Dani, who handled the sale, was absolutely excellent. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and never once applied any pressure. She answered every question clearly and made the buying process enjoyable. Dani was a genuine pleasure to deal with and represents the dealership very well.
However, the experience was let down by one particular dealership policy.
We asked if we could collect the car on a Saturday because I work full-time during the week. Unfortunately, we were told that would not be possible. We have since heard that dealership management does not allow vehicle handovers on Saturdays because that day is reserved purely for sales.
This policy is extremely disappointing from a customer perspective. By the point of collection, the customer has already committed to the purchase, and the handover should be an exciting and convenient part of the experience. Refusing Saturday collections effectively means many working customers must take time off work simply to collect a car they have already bought.
It gives the impression that the dealership is highly focused on securing new sales but less concerned with the convenience of customers once the deal is completed.
To be absolutely clear, this criticism is directed at the dealership policy and not at Dani, who was outstanding throughout. If customer experience matched the quality of service she personally provided, this would have been a five-star experience.

Our Dacia Sandero Stepway had it's first service done at the start of March 2026. The service from all the team was great, from the video of the checks by Joe Brooks through to the way the car was cleaned ready for collection.

Really good service and customer sales. Sam was brilliant throughout and very patient as we couldn’t decide between the Bigster & Duster. She was thoughtful and considerate of our wants, needs and budget. In the end we went for the Duster and it’s super. Hope the after sales is as good!

I have been a loyal customer for nearly 6 years and will never use again. The reason, I was sold a service plan for 3 years service plan, which initially was missold the price and then had to suck up an extra £13.99 a month after the sales executive forgot to say the price we were quoted which was supposed to include this, didn't. The dealership in Exeter did not want to budge on this so had to absorb this. Then today went in today for my final 3rd year service only to be slapped with a bill of £625 for the final service as we were 1800 mile over the 30000 miles. At no point was it explained that it had a 30000 mile limit or the service plan would not be valid. So I was mis sold this completely. They said it was up to me to read the terms and conditions. I reiterate at no point was this 30000 mile exclusion limit. I will never use this company again for any thing. They agreed to reduce to £380, but this reduction does not even cover the money I have paid out for this worthless service plan. Beware this sharp practice,. !
