I dealt with a salesman called Dan Beagley at the Doncaster Vertu Toyota branch. I ordered my car in may 2026 and was told I would take delivery in July, during the waiting period Dan contacted me several times to keep me updated.
When I went to pick up my new vehicle Dan once again was so professional in his approach and attitude which made the deal better as I had an horrendous experience at the Baugh Green site.
He was clean tidy and actually looked the part, well done Dan.
All in all a smooth exchange and everything demonstrated on the vehicle. 10 out of 10 in every field
The girl on the front desk was also so polite and helpful.
It has been a pleasure dealing with Vertu Toyota at Doncaster and will certainly recommend this dealership

I reserved a Toyota C-HR online as…
I reserved a Toyota C-HR online as advertised on both AutoTrader and Vertu’s official website. I paid the reservation fee, took time out of my day, and drove approximately two hours round trip to your Doncaster dealership.
Upon arrival, I inspected the vehicle, discussed it with the sales team, and completed a full test drive. Only after the test drive, when I was ready to proceed with the purchase, was I informed that the vehicle had been incorrectly priced and that Vertu would not honour the advertised price.
While I appreciate that genuine pricing errors can occur, I find it completely unacceptable that this was not identified and communicated to me before I travelled to the dealership. By the time I was informed, I had already spent considerable time and money making the journey and engaging in the sales process.
Allowing a customer to reserve a vehicle, travel to the dealership, inspect it, and complete a test drive before disclosing a pricing error demonstrates a serious breakdown in communication and falls well below the level of customer service I would expect from a national dealership group such as Vertu.
From a customer’s perspective, this experience was extremely disappointing and misleading. Regardless of whether the pricing error was genuine, the way it was handled caused me unnecessary inconvenience, wasted a significant amount of my time, and left me feeling that my custom was not valued.

Went to Doncaster Vertue and was met by Dan one of the salesmen,he was friendly and knowledgeable and also got me a good deal on my car. He explained everything in detail and said I can get in touch anytime if there's any problems,he was easy to talk to and put me at ease and a credit to vertue.

Toyota is a very good reliable car no doubt about that. I have given only 3 stars because it was a bad experience for me and my wife we did a quote and the add on for seal and protection wheel cover was all put on the bill we did not ask for it. We want to make sure you don’t make same mistake has we did we decided that the car was not for us and we took it back we lost £4000 in two weeks this is our mistake I fully understand that but this garage will not help you out with this sort of mistake. we did the same thing once before at a different dealership and they was more understanding we lost nothing. Garages are there to make money and yes this is our fault not Vertu Toyota I have done this review due to I don’t want Toyotas next customer making financial mistakes like we did you will lose a lot of money.

When we discussed the vehicle return, we explained that the reduction in value was primarily due to the VAT that is paid to HMRC once a new vehicle has been registered. Unfortunately, unlike a used vehicle purchase, a new vehicle becomes significantly more difficult to unwind after registration, which is why this cost formed part of the buy-back calculation we provided.
We understand this was not the outcome you were hoping for, and while we appreciate your concerns, the valuation was based on these unavoidable factors. If you would like to discuss the matter further, please do not hesitate to contact us, and we will do everything we can to assist.

I contacted Toyota Doncaster after seeing the car model I had been looking for advertised online. They were prompt with a call back, their salespeople were helpful and professional. I travelled down from North Yorkshire to see the vehicle and was met by a pleasant receptionist and shown the car by a lovely lady who didn't rush me, was happy to discuss my needs and explained the process clearly. After sales support was good but not pushy.
I would recommend the staff at Toyota Doncaster for anyone looking for a new or used car. Thank you for making the whole process smooth and un-rushed 🙂
