Thank you for giving me my life back
Since being in contact with Verve they have been so helpful and supportive, I met with Mr Howe’s who really understood about being overweight, I had been told by a GP ‘well you come from a fat family so what do you expect’. I had been on every diet and always come back to the same thing, putting on double. Mr Hewes understood this. I then met with Dafydd and then Vanessa, who were all really supportive and wanted to understand me and my situation. I had surgery on 15th September 2023, the team were amazing and so helpful on the day. The aftercare has been amazing too. Dafydd has been great and really easy to talk to, giving me hints and tips, also referring me onto Vanessa for extra support, Vanessa has spent a lot of time with me to support me through this journey and given me loads of coping techniques. I initially weighed 118kg, today I am 88kg, so much happier and healthier. Thank you Verve health Group for giving me my life back!

Everything I could have hoped for and more!
My experience with Verve Health Group has been everything I could have hoped for and more. Mr Alan Osborne has changed my life for the better. I am 15 months post op Sleeve Gastrectomy, and my life has transformed mentally and physically. Psychologist Dr Vanessa Snowdon-Carr is an expert when it comes to changing the mindset and Specialist Dietitian Jeanette Lamb has given me the tools I need for the rest of my life to maintain a healthy weight and balanced lifestyle. For the first time in my life I have a healthy BMI and believe that I have the tools in place to maintain that.

I am so glad that I came across the Verve Health Group when I was searching for bariatric surgeries. From the initial inquiry up to now I have been treated fantastically. I believe luck was on my side as I ended up with one of the best suited consultant surgeons I could ask for. Someone who has made a huge impact in the bariatric world and continues to do so. I’ve been treated with so much respect and dignity which made the journey a lot easier for me. You do hear of overseas treatments and surgeries for a fraction of the price but as my case was a bit complicated I felt that staying local would be best. I’m glad I did. Thank you to everyone at the Verve Health Group for helping me with my journey and a very special thank you to Mr Pournaras for taking the risk with me and helping me on my journey. I am so thankful.

A great experience
I felt safe, listened to and well informed before and after my weight loss surgery. Everyone that I have been in contact with from Verve has been kind, informative, patient and always responds in a timely manner. I am so pleased that I chose them for my weight loss surgery. The after care I have received is amazing and I feel reassured that they are there to support me for the next year too!
