Via appliance does not repair, they only replace parts

Via appliance has made 5 trips to fix a freezer on a new refrigerator and could not, Whirlpool replaced the refrigerator, but the freezer on that one also did not work and Via Appliance made 5 more trips and verified that there was a problem but could not fix it. The last tech, Danny R. came in with an attitude, did not bring tools and did not cover his shoes before rudely brushing past me to the kitchen. He made several untrue comments about how a freezer works acting as if I was ignorant, refused to let me listen to his conversation with Whirlpool and closed the ticket with Whirlpool stating that a freezer fluctuating between 0 and 10 (sometimes as high as 20) degrees was normal. Because he closed the ticket, Whirlpool will no longer work with us on that problem. Via Appliance techs are only parts replacers, not technicians. If the problem is not fixed by a parts replacement, they cannot fix your appliance and you are just stuck with a broken appliance. They really don’t care about how they service you because they have the contract with Whirlpool and are the only company the DC, MD, WV area that can work on your Whirlpool appliance under warranty. My suggestion is to not buy a Whirlpool appliance.

Bogus reports

The "so called" technician makes excuses why the appliance is not working properly. He tries to blame the customer but won' t really admit a repair or replacement problem (as the appliance is still under warranty). Seems like a real "scheme" and is deceitful.

LOL this company is a joke!!

LOL this company is a joke!!! DO NOT USE!!!
- they don't answer their phones, so I made an online appt (one would think this is convenient) and wrote a short write up about the issue. They used MY write up (I am not a technician) to order a part without calling to confirm the issue.

- they came to fix my fridge, installed the part even though they knew it wouldn't fix the problem BECAUSE IT WAS THE WRONG PART and the original part that they replaced was working, but hey they got money because they sold me a part that I didnt need

- technician left a note and told me NEVER TO TOUCH the temperature controls for the fridge because they do not work (which is the problem I called them to fix) and recommended adding tape and a note for other people LOLOL what a joke

- charged me over $400

- I called to request the actual problem be resolved and they hung up on me, twice!

I didn't realize this company and meteorologist were so similar. Must be nice to be paid to be wrong.

Do not use this company!!!
