I ordered 2 extremely expensive garden sofas from Viadurini.
Both sofas arrived with a broken arm on each.
They were sent back and I asked for a refund as they were not fit for purpose.
They never gave me a refund as they said that the sofas were bespoke (cushions were bespoke) ignoring the fact that the sofas were damaged and that I was entitled by law to receive a refund. I wrote many times. It has been very stressful and a very bad experience. They then insisted that I take delivery of 2 new sofas which arrived before I had agreed to take them.
I now have 2 cheaply made sofas (are they made in Italy?) which have been foisted on me as the company insisted I take them.
I would advise anyone to be extremely careful if doing business with this company as you will never get your money back if anything goes wrong.

As soon as we were informed of the damage that the driver caused, we filed a complaint and worked in order to solve the issue as fast as possible.
The two sofas did not break because they are low quality - they are high quality in fact -, but rather because they were mishandled during transportation.
You asked for a customization, which excludes any possibility of a refund.
Moreover, an item cannot be said to be unfit for purpose because it is damaged; the items that were delivered are precisely the ones you chose and on which modifications you requested were made.
Therefore, there can be no question of the goods being unfit for the agreed use.
