Quick Sell function doesnt work, lost my BTC, ignored by customer support - SEE UPDATES
This started as a 1 star moan...
I attempted to use their Quick Sell function. The website generated an address for me to deposit BTC into, in exchange that they deposit cash to my account. I copy and pasted the address and sent the funds from my wallet. A few days later I hadn't been paid so I emailed them. I was told they hadn't received the payment and suggested I'd sent it to their ether account. I checked blockchain which showed as a completed trade to a valid BTC address. Searching the Ether blockchain shows an invalid address. I haven't heard from them for a week, once I sent them the screen from the blockchain, despite an email to them every couple of days. It's now been 2 weeks and I've heard almost nothing in return. I understand they're a small team and might be on holiday or something but not impressed at all. Almost missed a mortgage payment as a result. I don't believe they are untrustworthy or intentionally swindling people but the customer support and rectification has been sub par. Will continue to buy from them due to the economy of scale but will not trust their quick sell feature again & will stick to Local Bitcoins for when I want quick cash. The Buy function is good and reliable for accessing market prices, the sell function is reprehensible and communication has been notably poor. 2/10 would not bang.
UPDATE: I just received a call from Vimba. There was a screw up in our comms and it's very clear that they are doing what they can to make things right. I'm scared to check my junk folder in case there's a bunch of emails there. They fact that they took action straight away and have addressed the problem is a huge leap towards redemption in my eyes.
UPDATE: Later this same day. Vimba have tracked the error down to an update on an exchange and have honoured the payment at the current BTC price, up 50% from when I sold. It took a while but the level of commitment and service in sorting things out has blown me away. I feel like a dork for getting upset in the first place and jumping to conclusions that I was being ignored.
Absolute redemption in my eyes. Come back of the year - 10/10
BEWARE - Not so great for the 1%
Tried to register, the address finder is crap. Received a we'll help you complete email... useless as same problem. I replied to support, quick response, asked for photo with drivers license and utility bill to help complete the setup, I sent all and received no confirmation. 24 hours later I asked for update, another 24 hours no communication. So much for 2 minute registration, annoyed by the waste of time, started 11 December, now 14 December
- Update after response :
Takes a few seconds to send "information received - verification in progress" especially when asked for an update after 24 hours. Amended the rating and harsher elements of my review because someone took the time to give feedback.

Just received the same request for information I answered 2 days ago by sending the information... Something very wrong here... Starting to smell like a scam with automated responses. BUYER BEWARE - I'm out
