From Knowing Nothing About Instructional Design to Getting My First Opportunity
As a recent graduate, I was looking for a career that would allow me to work from home and build a professional career without being limited by location. I came across Instructional Design while exploring different career options and eventually searched ChatGPT for information about how to get started.
That's how I came across Vineet.
I had absolutely no professional experience in Instructional Design when I started. I didn't know the terminology, tools, learning theories, or even what an Instructional Designer actually did on a day-to-day basis.
I explained my situation to Vineet, and he suggested a focused crash-course approach covering the fundamentals I needed to understand the field and prepare myself for an entry-level opportunity.
The training started from the basics and covered Instructional Design concepts, learning theories, adult learning, learning objectives, instructional strategies, storyboarding, assessments, eLearning, and the overall Instructional Design workflow.
What made the experience different was the support outside the actual explanations. Whenever I was confused about something, I could ask Vineet and get practical guidance instead of having to search through dozens of different tutorials.
With his guidance and support, I was able to prepare myself for interviews and eventually secure a work-from-home opportunity with a salary of ₹45,000 per month.
As someone who was completely new to the field, this was a huge achievement for me.
I'm genuinely thankful to Vineet for not just teaching me the basics but also helping me understand how to approach the career, prepare for opportunities, and build confidence along the way. I would highly recommend his training to anyone starting Instructional Design from zero.
